Having had a back issue for nearly three years and tried various treatments, none of which have helped, I decided to try osteopathy and am so glad I did. Richard spent time talking over the problem and after a physical examination suggested a course of treatment. He immediately diagnosed the problem and has made a huge difference already. He hasn’t promised a miracle cure but a realistic improvement to make life more comfortable and I can get back to all the activities I enjoy.
I was recommended to see Oliver Wakefield at Osteo & Physio - & I am very pleased I went!I have been suffering with a sore knee for around a year & no one really could find a cause - on the first appointment Oliver seems to have pinpointed the root cause! He is very professional & polite, I look forward to next appointments & finally sorting out my troublesome knee.
Louise Pratley, osteopath at Osteo and Physio in Tiverton is an exceptional practitioner. She is incredibly skilled at finding the root of any physical problem, whether it be a recent injury or longstanding issue, and manages to cure it every time! Always with lots of helpful chat and positivity, followed up by email links to post treatment exercises. My whole family recommend her wholeheartedly.
The treatment over several weeks, was continually helpful and delivered with understanding and informative explanations. There was no sense of hurry and the surroundings were welcoming and very clean and tidy. A pleasant and relaxing experience. My first experience of osteopathy and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
I developed an uncomfortable condition called Trigger Thumb, and really did not want to go the conventional GP route to get it sorted as, from my research, this looked likely to require anything from a splint through to steroid injections to possibly an op on my thumb! A friend recommended Tiverton Osteo and Physio, I booked, and three osteo sessions has pretty much cured the ‘trigger’! Kieran talked me through everything that was going on in a very patient and clear way which was really helpful for me to understand the exercises that he was asking me to do. The final session today was reassuring that I can continue to manage the slight remaining pain in my thumb and be confident what to do for myself if it should return which I understand it may do on occasions if I over exert myself. An excellent experience throughout my three sessions!
