The staff at checkout are invariably very friendly, as are most of the rest of the staff. However, ask one of the staff where something is and 50% f the time they don't know. Signs are inaccurate, shelves are often not stocked, and then there is the fruit and vegetable section. Today it was rotting plums, and cobs of corn that would, maybe, be okay for pig food. Unnecessary Plastic wraps on things. No wonder people buy their fruit and vegetables elsewhere. Frozen foods are frequently icy, not surprising given the trolleys sit unattended. Nothing like a monopoly to provide a poor experience; though that need not be the case, it is here. Greed over customers. Two stars because the checkout staff are great.

On Facebook you are advertising Gift card to shop for your Birthday, so I thought nothing ventured nothing gained , we dont have a pak n save in my home town .I did everything right answered for questions put my address in and the web kept declining my address, over and over again, apparently the the house i live in doesn't exist , if only that was so , I could stop paying my rent , I live at 33a the property was subdivided in the last century, 1970s to be exact your system needs upgrading
The excellent values of staff at Porirua Pak n Save.Raj, who kindly and thoughtfully guided me to produce he had brought into the fruit area, Davontae who thoughtfully used his initiative volunteered to go and search out the back for a frozen product, Rosemary who was thoughtfully observant at checkout and corrected a mistake so I got the extra cheap special price, and Neeleshni at information who was patient, thoughtful and helpful. Awesome consistent values of caring, thoughtfulness, patience, helpfulness and all with a happy and positive attitude. Thank you for the joy of shopping Porirua Pak Save 😊💖🎶
The low prices are a big draw. I seldom go to Woolworths/Countdown any more because of this, however, some of the staff are rude, arrogant and seem to resent any interaction with customers! They need to improve their customer staff service!
