Booked a collection for the same day before the cut off time. Got an email confirmation confirming that it would be collected that day. Stayed home all day waiting for the collection. Saw the courier van pass my house twice without stopping. Contacted the courier who confirmed that they had had no instructions from Parcel Monkey to make any collection from my address. I contacted Parcel Monkey who blamed the courier. Parcel Monkey tell you not to contact the courier on their website, I can only assume to keep you in the dark! Customer service is unhelpful and dismissive. Go elsewhere!
I can't express how frustrated I am. I sent a £300 item to Ireland (£24) with customs properly completed, yet they made a digital mistake. I'm still waiting for the item since November 25, and there's no urgency from the support team to assist with a return or refund. They hide behind emails and complicated language—avoid this service at all costs. After 12 years of using them, I feel completely disrespected. The tracking number is CK250720527GB; it's a joke.
In contrast to another service that properly labeled my parcel as a personal gift to avoid duty fees, this service failed to do so. As a result, I had to pay almost £30 in duties before the customs in the USA would release it, and I couldn't reach anyone for help.
Completely disappointing. They promote a low price but then add significant charges after completion, which feels deceptive. Their business practices are terrible, and I even paid for 24-hour delivery, yet it arrived late. I recommend looking for alternatives.
Imposing significant extra fees and wrongly stating the parcel's dimensions is frustrating. The tactic of promoting a lower price and then adding unexpected charges after shipment, without prior notice, is completely unacceptable.
I've used this online service before. Booking the collection was straightforward, and the person who collected the package was very courteous. However, the delivery was not as satisfactory. The parcel was left on the doorstep, and the recipient mentioned they couldn't hear the doorbell ring. This is the sole reason I rated it 3 stars.
An excellent method for shipping parcels and monitoring their status. However, I find it frustrating that after making a payment for a parcel, I receive a message indicating an issue, requiring me to contact them. This results in having to cancel the transaction and wait for the refund to my card.
