I’m honestly shocked that PayPoint has a 4.7-star rating; my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.
For nearly three weeks, my wife and I have been trying to redeem a voucher, only to be met with constant excuses. Every location we visit claims their "system is down" or they "don’t provide that service," despite being listed as a PayPoint provider. To make matters worse, the staff often treat us with complete distance , making us feel like beggars rather than customers.
The Major Issues:
* Theft and Lack of Accountability: One of our vouchers was actually cashed out by a specific PayPoint location, but the money was never handed over to us.
* Zero Follow-up: We filed a formal complaint regarding the stolen funds, but we've heard absolutely nothing back. In 2026, where every transaction is scanned and tracked by banks multiple times, it is ridiculous that they claim they "can't track" where the money went.
* Complete Waste of Time: Today (23.02.2026) was the final straw. We spent 3 hours driving 27 miles to multiple locations. Every single shop refused to help us.
Final Verdict:
This service is a joke. Their support is non-existent, and I refuse to waste another two hours of my life on a phone queue only to be ignored again. It is shameful that a company can operate with such total disregard for its users. Avoid at all cost

ITS A PITY I CANT RATE ZERO FOR THIS COMPANY. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY HAVE SUCH HIGH RATINGS ON HERE. TRY NOT TO RATE THEM ON SIGN UP AS THEY ARE GOOD AT SELLING THE PRODUCT AND APPEAR VERY NICE TO BEGIN WITH. I SIGNED UP WITH THEM FOR MY STORE A FEW YEARS AGO AND THEY DISCONNECTED MY SERVICE FOR NO REASON AND WOULDN'T SEND ME MY FINANCIAL DETAILS SO THAT I COULD SEND TO MY ACCOUNTANT. I THEN HAD THE REP WHO SIGNED ME UP ORIGINALLY COME INTO MY STORE AND ASSURE ME HE COULD GET RID OF A DEBT THEY CLAIMED I HAD IF I SIGNED UP AGAIN. I DID SIGN IP BUT PUT ON THE FORM THIS TIME I WOULD NOT BE A PERSONAL GUARANTOR IF ANYTHING WENT WRONG DUE TO WHAT HAPPENED PREVIOUSLY. LONG STORY SHORT I AM NOW HAVING TO PAY BAILIFFS OVER £2000 FOR A HIGH COURT WRIT THEY MANAGED TO GET DUE TO THEM CHARGING ME FOR 2 PAYPOINT MACHINES THAT I STILL HAVE AND THEY FAILED TO COLLECT EVEN THOUGH I CHASED WITH THE SOLICITOR AND HE SAID HE WOULD ASK THEM TO COLLECT THEM. SCAMMERS!!!
