Professionell Service , excellent communication and I had the most fabulous engaging driver . It was worth trying this company as an alternative , as my regular company could not provide an airport pick up on short notice. I am definitely sold !
The online booking service was easy. I was contacted prior to my pick up time to let me know my driver was on-site, given a photo ID and a description of the car. The process could not have been easier. Farouk was helpful, polite and an excellent driver. I would highly recommend this service.
Words cannot describe the incompetence. I booked via Airport taxi transfers and was assigned to Peliccan Cars. Initially it all seemed fine, they promptly confirmed my booking via WhatsApp. However, on the day of travel, my pickup time passed, and there was no sign of a driver. I called and spoke to someone who didn’t understand what I was saying and just kept trying to transfer me. Each time she tried to transfer me the line cut off. This happened 8 times until eventually I got a call back from another number who said he was calling from Britannia cars and that they were unable to fulfil my booking today. I didn’t have time to go into why I was getting a call from another company telling me they couldn’t honour the booking so I demanded a refund for the outbound and return journeys. The man said I had to contact airport taxi transfers to get a refund for the return journey. I have written to airport taxi transfers suggesting they remove this company from their provider list as they’re incompetent. I was left stranded and having to find alternative, more expensive options, last minute in order to catch my flight.
I booked a taxi with Peliccan through airport taxis online. Although we booked a car for 4 people the car they sent to Stansted Airport was too small to accommodate us. This caused a long delay and payment of an extra £75 to get a suitable taxi from another operator.Despite this gross inefficiency, Peliccan have refused to compensate me for my loss.I am writing to Airport Taxis saying that they should never subcontract to Peliccan again.Since Peliccan seems unable to manage simple instructions about the capacity of its taxis, I recommend that nobody else uses them.
