Tom from Pest UK visited me twice to deal with a rat problem, and both times he was very professional, friendly, and helpful. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure the job was done properly. He really went above and beyond my expectations. I’m very happy with the service – thank you, Tom!
Terrible time with this company.The technician they sent out was rude and rushed the job. He had zero empathy and consideration for the fact I needed to evacuate my home during fumigation with two young kids. Do not use this company, the follow up customers service wasn’t much better either.
1st visit was good. The 2nd visit and reporting is the let down. Considering the amount paid, on the 2nd visit, bait was removed. Didn't we pay for that? 2nd visit was rushed I think due to us being the last visit of the day. Had the wrong reports sent to us. The report itself had very little details and photos attached.
Had Pest UK come out to look at a wasp nest we had discovered when we were having our cable connected for our internet, appointment was made very quickly for us which is always good and to our schedule. Mark came out looked in the loft couldnt see the nest then had a look and said it would be under our tiles as he watched many wasps go into the tile gaps, he treated the nest and (touchwood) seems to have solved the issue. Mark was very through and explained everything he was doing and also complimented my no doubt terrible coffee i made him..... He is in my opinion a credit to the company and due to his high level of professionalism i would recommend.
Damien was amazingly kind, competent, polite, explained everything, and the job is a success as far as I can see.My new kitten had fleas, I discovered after a few days.I got bitten. My kitten Yossi has been treated and is fine, but I was terrified of having fleas in my home. Just want to say that besides Damian I also spoke to Lewis, Scott, Bobby, and all were very professional, patient and reassuring.
Wouldn’t recommend, I paid for a rat extermination a few months ago which didn’t resolve the issue. I then paid again a few weeks ago (nearly £500 in total) for the same thing and turns out there was a hole they couldn’t find either time. Disappointing as have paid twice for nothing. The phone operators don’t listen and the pest control seems rude. They advised they would come round on a follow up visit but never turned up.
Please beware of this company, They are scammers.I arranged for someone to come out to look at a potential bed bug problem, They arrived in a hoody and joggers with no equipment or gloves which didn’t immediately feel right given the nature of the problem, The contractor (They are all sub-contracted out) was shown to both rooms, and proceeded to pull apart all of the bedding without gloves, but only really checked very briefly, didn’t look at any of the wooden slats or the seams of the mattress etc which I’d already done over the weekend with a UV Light/Torch and expected this to be a much more thorough service given it was sold to me as a “Survey” for £120. Contractor was very insistent it was definitely bed bugs and very keen for me to pursue next steps/agree to a package.Contractor asked me if I’d already been explained the options/packages already or not, I got a sense he was trying it on with me.Anyway the “Survey” ended if you can even really call it that and he demanded payment…He had basically done nothing, and my understanding was I would receive a survey after the visit with the findings and I’d then make payment once I’d been given an invoice which is a pretty standard way of working, and exactly how I’ve worked with all sorts of tradesman and similar in the past.The contractor became quite aggressive and hostile, and I asked him to leave repeatedly to which he refused. I called the office whilst he was there to try and resolve the issue directly however the contractor refused to leave, eventually stepping outside and keeping his arm against my front door.A complete scam and con company, No mention in any of the communication or emails regarding immediate payment needed/demanded, Complete unprofessional cowboy set up, Please beware before contacting them.
