This service desperately needs a zero-star option. An engineer came for my gas service and was unprofessional. After 40 minutes, he claimed there was a problem and placed a danger sticker on my nearly new boiler. He said the reset button wasn't working, but after he left, I discovered he had damaged it. When I contacted the service, they dismissed my concerns, saying the engineer claimed it was already like that. They left me with a damaged boiler and no accountability. Avoid this service at all costs!
This service is contracted by another company. Today was supposed to be my annual gas service, but they failed to show up. I received a text reminder yesterday, but this isn't the first time they've missed an appointment. I've taken days off work for them before. I don't understand why this company is still being used.
I had an engineer out to do a gas safety check on my EMH property in Hartshorne Swadlincote. The engineer was absolutely amazing. He explained everything he did in great detail and even showed me problems he’d found and explained this would be why I kept losing pressure. He booked my parts in and Phoenix contacted me to offer an appointment tomorrow. I can’t thank Phoenix enough for their very friendly, informative attitude.
I felt it very imperative that I write in today and let you know the experience that I have with phoenix gas services. We have been let down in the past numerous times which has affected my sons mental health as he has adhd and Asperger's, being told that you are coming and don't attend does not bode well on those that have to plan for your attendance, especially then to be threatened with an injunction by emh housing.We had an appointment today for after 10am on Wednesday the 7th of may because we had very little faith that you would attend myself and my mother sat in the car park from 10 o'clock it got to 11:30 and there was no sign of an engineer. I placed a call into your service department and was lucky enough to be greeted by a very kind and pleasant lady called Gemma, I explained my frustrations I have had previously and could you confirm that an engineer was on their way. Gemma did her diligence and then called me back.It wasn't good news the engineer that was due to attend had phoned in sick and we had not been told , however Gemma had made contact with a number of other engineers that were local and managed to secure a new appointment for 2:30 that day. She kept me updated in terms of time and who would be attending which either was then able to relay back to my son to put him at ease. Gemma told me that the attending technician would call half an hour before arriving and would call me when he was at the property. The attending technician was a chap called jay he was so polite he was so helpful, he was so understanding and he did in fact call me 25 minutes prior to arriving which gave me enough time to warn my son and then he called me when he was out to say that he was here. I've just called jay as I wanted to make sure that everything was okay and no messages needed to be relayed back to me because my son would surely forget and he again omitted kindness and patience understanding and a huge amount of empathy for my situation and showed nothing but genuine kindness. Jay and Gemma surely turned this experience around for me and my son, they are both a wonderful credit to your business and I really felt that I needed to take the time out to celebrate them both and I hope that you can pass this on to them and celebrate them as well.Thank youHayley
I had them come out to my father in laws boiler to check a pressure drop on the 5th Dec 24, I payed the invoice on the 11 Dec 24. They contacted me on Friday 25th April 25 asking me for the payment, I sent them a screenshot of the bank transfer as proof of payment, they are saying they will have to check with there bank. Shortly after the job was done my father in law passed away so I don’t need this from them they should keep there payment’s up to date, not my problem.
My boiler broke and was shut off on 12th of Feb, I’ve had the same gentleman named Kevin come out 3 times to try and get it sorted for me. He has been so friendly, it’s really hard being a woman alone and having a male come into my flat to do work, but Kevin made me feel the most comfortable! Explained everything thoroughly, and is very efficient with his work! Despite it being a while without my boiler due to waiting for parts to arrive, I cannot express my gratitude for how understanding, helpful and fantastic they have been for me!
