Review Time
I wrote a review for this company on 1/3/23. The response received from the company on this forum is completely fictional and i have emailed to tell them so. I had an am appt given to me, no engineer called, i was home, i had no missed calls from him! Fo not use.
If you want your boiler installed efficiently and hassle-free then do NOT use this company!The engineer was rushing to get the job done quickly.I felt it was all about the money and not about quality workmanship. He even spoke about competing with a colleague in regards to this. The gas engineer caused a major gas leak due to not using the correct protective equipment. Cadent said it was a schoolboy error. We were also told the boiler could not be moved into the loft and had to stay in the same place which was incorrect. The radiators did not heat through so another gas engineer had to return at a later date to install the correct pipework.When we rung to complain about the above, there was no apology and felt utterly patronised.
Phoenix Gas have been Absolutely Brilliant! Our old boiler broke & leaked through our kitchen ceiling! So we looked around for the best deal on a new Vaillant boiler. Trevor came out to give us the best price quote and the next week Mick & Lee fitted it professionally & hassle free! We highly recommend this company. Thanks a lot Team, we're very happy!
Not really worthy of any stars.We were due to have solar panels installed today by Phonenix but received a phone call at 8.30 am to say they had cancelled. Phonenix are not interested in customer satisfaction. Even their area manager ignores emails sent to him trying to resolve the matter.We had no say in selecting this installation company (the work was outsourced by EON) but if you do have a choice, avoid Phonenix!
Truly awful companyIven been waiting since September for a small part to installed on my heat pump. I think waiting 6 months is much too long. No updates for Phoenix and no idea if this will ever get resolved. The tell me that its on order!!!! Is it coming from Mars!! If you want a company that provides dreadful to none customer service use PhoenixUpdated 2/2/2023The reply below is not true. Ive had no contact from the company or the manager whatsoever. this is now 2 1/2 years since the initial installation, which is unacceptable under any circumstances. I recently had an inspection from E.ON. Their plumber went to the local DIY supplies shop, bought the part and fitted it to the bottom of the unit. Something Phoenix were unable to do in two and a half years!
Signed contract for installation of gas boiler, told given a date within 2 weeks. Had to ring after 3 weeks to be told not installing gas until late 2023. Asked to speak to Manager was told they would be back within 14 days, five weeks ago - still waiting on call. Very poor customer service by management. Double-check everything before you sign.
