Pitpat sound good value when you consider that there is no ongoing subscription cost. However, our tracker failed after less than 10 months. They replaced it and Pitpat are so confident in the reliability of their products that they then stated that our replacement would only have 2 months warranty to meet the original 12 month warranty for our original purchase. If the replacement fails then we will enforce UK consumer law to get them to respect our consumer rights. Such a shame that a company will force you to threaten legal enforcement before they comply with consumer rights.
My purchase of the PitPat Tracker was excellent with good communication and speedy dispatch and delivery.
My only complaint is that there were no written instructions for setting up the Tracker in the box and it wasn’t clear when I tried to find instructions online although I did learn how to set up the location using the pad enclosed in the box.
I did find it easy to connect my dog to the Tracker when I opened the PitPat app but this wasn’t apparent when I received the Tracker and I would have liked written instructions so it was clear what I needed to do from the getgo.
I've only had it for a few days, but my experience has been good so far. It tracks effectively and is user-friendly. Personally, I purchased it mainly for tracking purposes, so I find it a bit frustrating when I receive messages about other aspects of pet ownership.
Fast shipping. I experimented with another brand previously, but it didn't work out, even though it was intended for puppies. This product delivers on its promises. My dog's stools are smaller and firmer, and he enjoys it. It works well for my dog, and even with his portioned meals, he doesn't experience bloating. Great job with this product!
I had high hopes that this would provide the stress relief I needed for my scent tracking dog. I appreciated the one-time payment option instead of a subscription. Unfortunately, in the areas where I need it most (the new forest), it takes a long time to connect, if it connects at all, and the location accuracy leaves much to be desired. Additionally, the battery life is not impressive, and after just three weeks of use (from new), the device has stopped charging.
Reaching the support team by phone was a breeze, and the representative on the line was both friendly and helpful. We called twice without any issues and received respectful and courteous treatment. Our issue was addressed swiftly and efficiently. It was a breath of fresh air to interact with such accommodating individuals. We would recommend the service to anyone with a dog. Our tracker provides us peace of mind, and we feel more secure when out with our pet. It’s reassuring to know we have dependable support from the company.
