Review Time
We ordered Plumbs Covers for our suite 3 weeks ago and they were fitted yesterday, we are delighted with the fit and quality of the covers, it looks like a new suite and the new colour has transformed the room. Barbara was very helpful throughout the process helping us with choosing the right colour and material, she spent a long time measuring every angle to ensure a good fit and came back to show us how to fit the covers. The turnaround from ordering to fitting was just 3 weeks which was much faster than we thought. the covers arrived beautifully wrapped and protected. all round a very good experience.
Friendly, helpful 1st contact. Pattern maker was very efficient (although no-one mentioned it would take 4hours!). James who fitted the covers was excellent, he didn't mind me watching how it was done. He noticed a fault , so he took the sofa cover back + it was quickly fixed . He returned a week later to finish the fitting. We are very pleased with the result.
I am delighted with my purchase but feel I must express my views of the whole experience. I am 80 years of age but fortunately do not have any financial difficulties. However I have all my life I had to be careful with money. To say that your service is valued for money is disgraceful. I could had brand new furniture for the cost of my loose covers. As I said the quality is very good but definitely not value for money and outwith the pockets of many members of society.The sales pitch was excellent but FAR TOO PUSHY. I ordered contrasting cushions for my sofa and declined matching cushions as a spare set. However when my covers were fitted the lady had had the matching ones made as well and offered them to me. I pointed out that I didn't want them but felt almost blackmailed into accepting them. If everything is made bespoke why bring extra that she told me were £407. Leaves a bad taste but despite this I would recommend the product but advise that it is VERY EXPENSIVE.
Have used this company before and have found their bespoke curtain making service to be excellent each time. Professional from first point of contact to final fitting. Shall be using them again in the near future on my next home improvement project.
