Unsatisfactory Service

The service has been terrible; my emails and support tickets have been ignored. Five payments were taken after I requested to cancel my subscription, with promises of refunds that never materialized. I’m now getting no responses to my emails. Being on maternity leave, I was counting on that refund.

Lack of Communication

There’s no way to contact the company; they keep ignoring and closing my customer service tickets. They claimed the only way to refund my money is to cancel the dispute with my bank. However, my bank informed me that this is not true, indicating further attempts to scam me.

GETTING EXTREMELY ANNOYED NOW AT THE INCOMPETENCY OF THIS COMPANY

I actually cancelled my services many months ago and were a negative review back then because they were still trying to take payments from me after having confirmation via email of my cancellation. It’s now January and I am STILL receiving emails for invoices they have raised and notices of ‘non payment’ for services I cancelled last year. How difficult is it for this company to actually CANCEL services for people PROPERLY!? It appears to me that they’re either extremely incompetent or they intentionally do this to extract more money from people.

Website down and no support help

I have set my subscription to cancel because for over a week now my website has been down and I cannot log into my control panel. I raised a support ticket 8 days ago and there is still no answer other than 'try it now' and nothing has changed.You offered me a further month of hosting for free but didn't honour it and my website is now offline again!

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. Scam of a company. Cannot speak to anyone. I want to cancel my hosting after multiple failings on my website. I will be taking this further and having them investigated. I will cancel my monthly charge straight from my bank and ensure there are consequences for this AWFUL company. Further to the response from podpress I have responded to emails with no reply from them whatsoever. I couldn't simply "log on" to cancel my hosting because I couldn't access my account to talk to anyone. From open support ticket that was also no help whatsoever. I've now lost all the work I wanted to retrieve from my website and I'm extremely disappointed in this service and how hard it is to simply get an answer or fix the many issues I've encountered with this hosting companies. Devastated to have put so much effort into this for it to end this way.**edit to respond. How do I open a support ticket when I can't log in, and after multiple attempts to reset password with no success, how would you propose I move forward to get answers?? **further edit. There is no email. There is no moving forward with this. Now how do I know you've even cancelled my subscription if you can't verify my email or find a way to get me logged in so I can speak to someone?? I've taken a screenshot of your response claiming to have cancelled my subscription, and I will also go directly to my bank to ensure this. I received email invoices from you, so I know there has to be a way to communicate. But I can't figure out how to do that, and every avenue I try seems like a dead end. Similar to many other negative reviews you have received. I highly recommend working on your customer support service in the future.

Cant cancel

I am having issues cancelling my payments to Podpress. I haven't had a website for nearly a year, and have tried to cancel on numerous occasions. The website was being set up by someone who was working on it as part of their university course, however I am no longer in contact with them, and therefore don't have any of the login details. I have no idea how to log on, and have had this money being taken now for a long time, and unable to cancel it from the bank side.Without any login details, it is impossible to cancel this payment, which will forever be leaving my account, and there is no way to actually contact anyone to have it cancelled from their end, without logging in.Disgraceful business practises.AVOID
