Very disappointed with the service

I purchased three tickets through a travel platform and had to cancel within 24 hours due to unexpected events. They refused to refund me and pressured me into accepting a much lower amount. My elderly parents, who booked for a now-cancelled event, are affected by this loss. I requested to escalate my complaint but received no response, just automated replies. There was no empathy shown, and I still haven't received a refund. This service has been terrible, with unhelpful staff who seem indifferent. I feel completely disregarded.

Disappointing experience with the service

I purchased three tickets through this service via a booking platform. Due to unexpected circumstances, I had to cancel within 24 hours. They refused to refund my money and wouldn’t allow me to rebook my seats. I was pressured into accepting a £200 refund per ticket, even though they cost me £700 each. I was told that if I didn’t cancel immediately and accept their refund, I wouldn’t get anything back. My elderly parents, who cannot afford this loss, were affected by a cancelled event. I requested to escalate my complaint but received only robotic replies. There was no compassion shown, and I still have not seen any refund. Very disappointing service and unhelpful staff who seem indifferent. It feels like I’ve lost £2,000 for a service I didn’t even use.

Additionally, I submitted a formal request for a copy of the call where the promise was made. Since then, I have sent multiple follow-up emails, but the company has not responded to any of them. No acknowledgment, no updates, and no handling of my complaint. In summary: sold and charged for extra legroom seats, provided standard seats instead, over a month without any response, no refund, and no complaint handling. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've encountered. I am now escalating my case to relevant authorities. If you are considering booking through this service, I strongly recommend verifying seat details directly with the airline and being aware of their unresponsive after-sales support.
