Sold a classic ski boat through these guys.Great experience!!I was regularly informed of progress, and always had access to them if needed.Was initially assigned Robert Crockett and later Gary Lochte. Both true professionals.Actual sale was safe, easy and stress free...thanks to Pop Yachts.Only way to sell/buy a boat.
Sale of a Pearson 303First let me say if your buying a boat I'm sure they are looking out for your best interest, if your selling a boat, they will be looking out for the buyer NOT the seller. Be advised if your boat is listed as a minimum commission sale, you will get minimum service, they are looking for the big money sales, broker never showed up for one showing, once a deal was in place, the surveyor that the broker recommended was not qualified and did not know what systems went where and scared off the buyer. We finally calmed everything down and made a deal, closing was a mess and took forever.This is a glorified advertising agreement only, your better listing on a free service and save yourself the commission, your not going to get anything for it.
John was very easy to work with from buying our boat to selling our boat. He was very quick to get back with us and follow up on any questions or concerns we had during the recent sale of our boat. John Pincura is the best sales person you will ever meet. He provided Complete photos of the boat; and answered all my question. He made me feel confident in my purchase. He is absolutely the best. I can not say enough great things about him and his staff.
I purchased an older MAKO from a seller in Florida while I was in Mexico using POP Yachts. Although I was not overwhelmed by the sales side of POP Yachts, I cannot say enough about the excellence of service I saw from three specific people at POP when things went a little sideways after the deal was done. Harley Holland, Rusty Kline, and especially Lauri Crockett in Customer Service went out of their way to assist me with my troubles. Were it not for a couple hiccups along the way, I would gladly give a full 5 star review. But these three deserve to be recognized for their customer care.
I thought boat shopping would be fun but with representatives like john Lombardi I'd rather buy from craigslist. He bearly had information on the boat I wanted. Hes located on the opposite side of the country where the boat is which it's in San Diego and hes in florida. He complained I emailed him late but I just expected him to be west coast near the boat not east. Very rude that's the second time I couldn't purchase a boat from pop yachts because of this type of experiance . He offered me other boats before information on the one I wanted and cause it to be in sale. Pop yachts was so fast to take my name and number saying they had 109 photos of the boat I wanted but only showed like 20 and john said he hasent even gone to see it yet
It was easier to buy my viper GTS than this yacht, with that being said, its not a GTS and wow its allot of back and forth phone calls, text, and emails, with ought the help from Gina and Tricia Thompson at pop yachts it would have been a disaster. if you don't have patience don't buy a yacht. I have been burnt many times thru the years and I can say with confidance this team was aces in there places. Have a blessed day
Tracie was a joy to work with and was super helpful. The wife and I bought a boat 10 hours from we're we lived and we'd didnt have any issues at first. The owner lost the title to the boat COVID happened and getting the title was a bear. Tracie kept in touch with me and helped the seller get the title for me. I will use POP Yachts again in the future.
