Review Time
I was selling an rv on this site. A lady was looking to buy it and came for an inspection. Mind you we haven't dusted in there. Hasn't been used in a year plus. The lady was extremely rude. Claimed the pictures on the advertisement were stock which they clearly weren't. It's a used rv and she lost it over a couple cat claw marks on the couch. When she got back to the pop ppl she told them it was extremely dirty. Showed them pictures she took of dust. Legit dust. Didn't know I needed to fully detail it for the inspection.... pop told me that this is unacceptable and canceled my add. Extremely rude. It's a used rv for sell lol
High pressure sales tactics is the only thing these folks know how to do. I work in sales and can spot this type of pressure miles away. While working with Ray on a Surf Boat in February (slowest time of the year) Ray continuously misled me. Saying things like "the market is heating up", "the seller is getting more inquiries" while asking him for basic information such as a build sheet, what options the boat had etc.
Finally when asked directly after he circled back with me he in a round about way admitted he was not in contact with the seller. Ray is in Florida, and the boat is in Illinois.
Long story short many others have experienced the same thing with Pop. I would not recommend them for buying or selling your boat or RV.
I bought this boat remotely without seeing it in person. Dimas, the selling agent took a video of it running and did a FaceTime inspection with me to show me everything about the boat as if I was there. Tricia, the closing advocate, was on top of all of the details for closing. Both were very friendly, professional and responsive. I would highly recommend using Pop Yachts.
If it wasn’t for Robin Wild, this deal never would have happened. Thank heavens she was our agent! Sellers agent would not put details of boat in ad. Lots of pictures but no details about what came with the boat. Boat was 700 miles away from us, so not that easy to run over and take a look! Robin got many of the details for us and arranged a conference call with the seller to answer a lot of our questions. We made an offer contingent on seeing the boat and getting a survey. We were trying to make travel arrangements but could not get information from the closing agent. Once again Robin jumped in and got the date confirmed

First of all, it was a long sales cycle due to my fault. I didn't have a trailer (didn't know I needed one for resale) and I had a dash gauge issue. But, Pop was able to come through with a buyer. Once they had a buyer, I worked with Trish Thompson on the closing. We were able to close the deal in less than 48 hours. This is from sea trail to wired funds. Note - the transaction was was done virtually. Trish held my hand through all the paperwork that needed to be handled and was available if I needed anything. Again, sea trail to payout in 33 hours.
