My uncle passed away almost 3 years ago in the UK. The Executors named in his Will declined after a few weeks and I was approached by Porter Dodson to act as Administrator. I live in Canada. I asked Porter Dodson to assist me with the processing of the Will. The first step was to be officially appointed as Administrator. This seemed to take a very long time. I guess the wheels of government grind just as slowly in the UK as they do in Canada. During the two and a half years it took to finally settle the estate, I worked with three different Porter Dodson solicitors and their teams. I would not been able to settle the estate without their assistance and services. I especially liked working with Suzanne Gullidge and her team. Everything was done through email. She responded very quickly to all of my questions and kept me informed, even during the long periods of time waiting for replies from other solicitors and the HMRC. She was very pleasant and I felt liked she cared about me as a client.

Following a very stressful time dealing with my elderly father before his death it was a relief to be able to hand over the responsibility of sorting out his estate to such professional but caring people. Everything was managed with the utmost efficiency and I was kept fully informed at every step of the way. Matters have just been concluded and I know that I could not have managed without them. It was definitely worth every penny.
