I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Precise. I was charged twice in one month for my mortgage, and despite calling countless times to resolve this, nothing has been fixed.
Each time I contact them, I’m transferred from one colleague to another and from one department to another. I’m repeatedly told that a refund will be issued, but the money has never arrived. I’ve been given conflicting information and, in my experience, false promises.
This has gone on for far too long and has caused me significant stress. At this point, I’ve had no choice but to involve my bank and the Financial Ombudsman to try and recover my money.
I feel completely let down by their lack of accountability and poor customer service. I would strongly advise others to be cautious
AVOID!!!I cannot stress enough how much you SHOULD NOT go with this company.We had a mortgage in principle and LTV% set with this provider. Credit reports were provided and a valuation was arranged.We were made to pay a ridiculously high valuation fee for them so send a company that clearly does not know what they’re doing, the house was massively down valued, was valued as the wrong house type and the houses she had compared ours to were not even in the same category. We then complained about this and (shock) the valuers did not agree. The mortgage provider then changed the LTV with no explanation. After challenging this the lender came back and said it was because of something active that showed on a credit check, wrong AGAIN. Our credit files were already shared and what they are referring to as active is 18 months old and inactive. This process was supposed to relieve stress and better our lives and we have ended up with no remortgage and £475 down from the valuation fee. This company has caused nothing but stress and anxiety. This company does not want to help you - avoid.
i occasionally get calls from supposedly your company,When they call they ask me to confirm my date of birth and name !! my question is why would u call us out of the blue and ask for our details with all this fraud going around i refused many times and when i ask why you called u cant give info withOUT me passing security , how the hell will i know who u are first ,since u called .. you need to figure out a method to confirm to your customer if you call who you are. Why should we give our personal info first to find out the reason for the call .? first and foremost you dialed my number right ??? does GDPR mean nothing to you ????

Superb & Fast , Precise made buying a house fast and quick, submitting application to mortgage offer was 10 working days. Their underwriting team were quick without unnessesary back and forth questions as many have suggested. The question that were asked were all relevant and once answered they were satisfied. I can not fault them at all. I found that they were professional and curtious and their decision making is faster than some high street banks. I went with a deal which offered cash back and that was refunded on day of completion cant ask for a more speedy service than that. Mortgage offer came 2 days after valuation. Once my conveyancing was done and my solicitor sent the COT to precise it took them 1 working day to give the green light to complete. Completion money sent to my solicitor and received by 10am day before completion. Honestly Precise have supprised me how efficient and quick they were. There rates are vey competitive amongst other lenders in this specialised area. I cant thank you enough from offer to completion 5 weeks WOW those words speak volumes. Reccomend to all, and one thing for precise is keep up the good work and continue your growth. Highly reccomend to anyone needing a mortgage whos circumstances just out of mainstream lending. Our application was dealt with speedily. The staff involved were always available to assist us and dealt with all our enquiries with understanding . Being of the " older " age group we were extremely nervous of the process but Precise made it easy.
