Signup Process is horrible! Verification process kept going in a loop. After undergoing the ID verification 2x, I was asked the repeat the process manually. Their system is really bad. I was gonna give this platform a try even after reading a lot of bad comments, hoping that my experience might be different. Mehhh...Qtrade is not worth trusting with my investments. Goodluck to you if you're still considering Qtrade!

The platform works well, the customer service is unacceptable.

The platform works well, but the customer service has slipped to nonexistent. After 9 years on Qtrade, they have completely stopped returning my messages or calls. I didn’t do anything wrong, they’ve just become a huge letdown and I’ve become distrustful from this repeated unresponsiveness - if they can’t handle the phone, they probably shouldn’t handle my money. I’ve got things to do, and Qtrade is literally in my way. I have financial instructions that they ignore.I’m looking to move my whole portfolio. I don’t trust this company anymore.

Do not entrust this organisation with your crypto transactions, as they behave unethically. Their service quality is severely lacking. A quick online search led me to𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮and after lodging my complaint, I recovered my money and my withdrawal issue was swiftly addressed.

A Long-Term User Disappointed by Ongoing Service Failures

After four years of hands-on use, Qtrade stands out as the weakest financial service I have dealt with. While the website technically works, it feels outdated and slow compared to modern platforms. Basic tasks such as internal or external account transfers routinely took several days, even though the same actions can be completed in minutes with competitors like Questrade or Wealthsimple.Customer support has been equally frustrating. Conversations through the chat system often felt dismissive and unhelpful, with little interest in actually resolving issues. Instead of clear guidance, I was made to feel like an inconvenience for asking reasonable questions.Midway through dealing with repeated delays and poor responses, I reviewed my documentation and options to understand whether these service failures met acceptable industry standards from a consumer rights perspective, including discussions with 乙ᖴᑕ.ᖇᗴ.There are many more efficient and professional investment platforms available. Based on my experience, Qtrade does not justify the time, effort, or trust required to manage personal investments.

Brutal - stay away if you have any questions

Brutal. Just plain brutal. Average of 2 months to reply to emails, if at all. No follow up. Because I wasn't successful over email, I called in and asked a pretty basic question (I had to initiate a transfer from the other institution instead of QTrade) and I might as well have been speaking a foreign language because the CSR had no idea what I was talking about and actually called me back for further clarification. I gave them a 1 out of 5 because I couldn't score them a 0. I'm transferring out of QTrade right now.
