Purchased a car in November 2025. Ryan drove it from Southend to our home in West Wales. During this journey Ryan explained that 'a fault had generated' with the DPF filter system.
I was told that if I would get it repaired ge would reimburse straight away. He was very reassuring that 'he was not like any other shady dealer, he had a reputation to maintain.'

On the basis of his promise (on many occasions) I went ahead and got the DPF filter cleaned at a cost approaching £370.00. I forwarded the receipt and was told that their bill paying days were something like 26th & 28th of the month. This was now December. January came and nothing. I contacted Ryan who assured me that 'was on the list' to be paid. A few weeks later & nothing. We now enter February 2026. I email them & send a copy to the car finance company that they put us on to. Within a few days, a phone call from Ryan. 'You'll be paid by the end of the week,' a further promise that was not fulfilled.

I decided to put this solely in the hands of the car finance company who are to reimburse and claim from this company.

My suggestion - stay well clear from this company.

Save yourself the headache

Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. Im in the lengthy process of returning my car as it was completely unfit for purpose. To make matters worse, the dealership was rude, unhelpful, and showed zero accountability for the issues. Terrible experience from start to finish.

Bought a car from Lee I found it on…

Bought a car from Lee I found it on auto trader was sent a walk around was told nothing wrong with the car it then got delivered to me with the engine light on was told to take it to halfords and warranty would cover it they refused to fix it there words were send it back it’s completely broke so we agreed Lee could fix it this car ended up going forwards and backwards about 6 times because they couldn’t fix it properly every time the car came back to me there was a new fault I then I had to go through the finance company to claim a refund as the garage refused to take the car back luckily I put my complaint in before the 6 months was up they then had to get an inspector to come assess the damage and they were found liable I found the staff quiet rude at times and made to feel as I was a pest when you spend £10,000 on a car you don’t expect it to be broken the day it’s delivered after 6 months of fighting and back and forwards the car has finally gone back to which I got my deposit back and lost out on all the finance I paid so now no car and no money back which is ridiculous considering the car was broken for the full time I owned it I would not purchase from this company again and would advise anyone doing so to go test drive and view the car in person I was also told my car came from Wigan it didn’t it came from Essex and went back to Essex every time to be fixed which also racked the miles up Essex is about 4-5 hours from me

Would like to say a few words.Ryan gave an excellent service.On buying our car Ryan looked after us .A few things to take care of and it wasn’t any trouble whatsoever.We are really happy with our new Mini so would highly recommend Priory Approved Motors.It makes a refreshing change dealing with a nice person who does truly care about the customer.Well Done Ryan.

Amazing service

Amazing service. I went out to get a bottle of Dr Pepper and found myself outside when Matt approached me showing me a car I assumed I wouldn’t be able to get or afford. After going over some numbers turns out I could! Not only that Matt managed to sort it so I got an even better deal the following day. Everyone is friendly and reachable. The whole experience was Quick and painless something Ill be honest I’ve never experienced before buying a car. Thanks guys and thanks Matt genuine credit to the company!
