Useless "VPN" which doesn't serve its function, its detected by every streaming service as the netherlands, some sites even block entry as the IP's they use are flagged as bot activity. Dont bother contacting them as they get frustrated easily by you stating the facts and they try to block your account for being critical..
You can use it for basic website browsing, but it won't work for gaming or ANYTHING ELSE. NOT AT ALL. It constantly changes the IP address, so when you're playing, the game will randomly lose connection and can't connect back, since PrivadoVPN changed it's own IP address randomly. Also, it's VERY SLOW! It takes minutes to connect, minutes to disconnect. Also, there are a lot of issues. Like realistically 20 hours of 24 hours it's "working", the remaining 4 hours is just problems. Disconnects randomly, loses speed, like randomly drops to 1mbps instead of 1000mbps, randomly changes IP address, etc, etc. It has a LOT of issues. It is MAYBE good for basic web browsing, but nothing else. I would recommend you paying a little more for a good vpn, but not this piece of crap. I bought a 2-year plan, but I had to buy a normal, working VPN too, since it's insanely unreliable.
I needed a VPN and tried the Free tier. It seemed to work fine, but a lot of websites (Google, YouTube, Reddit) are "blocked due to abuse," as you'd expect from a free VPN. Since the Premium tier supposedly had hundreds of servers, I paid for it because I expected the premium servers to work. The problem is those premium servers DON'T EXIST. No matter what country you choose, the app ALWAYS uses the same server in the Netherlands, the same server you could use in the free tier, and it won't even let you use Google without solving a dozen captchas. The "30 day money back guarantee" is a LIE. You're supposed to ask their support for a refund, but they simply don't reply.Privado might seem cheap, but when you realize you're paying for a VPN that can only use a single server that's blocked by most websites, it's less of a bargain and more of a scam. STAY AWAY. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!Edited two months later (October 2025): I couldn't cancel my subscription during the infamous 30 day period because they never replied to my requests. I can confirm that two months after my original review, no matter what country you choose in the app, you still get an IP in the Netherlands every single time. ALWAYS. Absolutely useless VPN if you want to access geoblocked websites, unless all the sites you want to visit are in the Netherlands.
I purchased this VPN because it accepted Crypto Payments.It’s a budget option, I paid $80 worth for 3 years.It seems stable and speeds are fine, it had lots of countries, but very limited servers. Don’t choose this VPN if you plan on streaming, Every server in Canada is flagged by Netflix (if you want to watch the office)The app is alright, with features like ad blocking, known scam websites blocking.Overall this is a good choice for everything but streaming
PrivadoVPN is a total joke. Their servers are fake as hell — you pick a country, but your IP ends up somewhere else entirely. The connection drops every 5–10 minutes like clockwork. I paid good money for this crap expecting something reliable, but all I got was trash that can’t even stay online. Don’t waste your time or money — there are plenty of VPNs that actually work, this one’s just a disgrace.
PrivadoVPN is a scam. The VPN locations are all fake they all get detected to be mostly from Netherlands. Contacted Support to get refund on the first day signing up. The worst VPN out there both as a product and as support. Stay away! You been warned. Edit: I tried to contact them for refund and still no reply from their ticket system / email.
