I’ve just ordered the new rabbit training treats… super excited, Dexters going to love them!
My best friend Dexter has lots of allergies and a bad skin condition. He’s a very sensitive dog.
Feeding him Prodog Raw was life changing for him and me because I was at a loss as to what to try feeding him on… I was out of options!
Dexter used to frantically itch and chew his underneath red raw, he had bald patches, he was constantly malting and was a very uncomfortable, unhappy dog. Everything seemed like a struggle with him because he was always very sore. He was hard work and after being very sceptical I finally decided to seek help from Prodog’s team. I had nothing to lose by trying a raw diet… things couldn’t get any worse with his skin. It was bleeding a lot, everything the vet had recommended failed and I was constantly in tears because I wanted to help my dog so badly.
I remember being worried about feeding him raw food; freezing it, remembering to defrost it, ordering it on time, wondered whether he would eat it, I had loads of worries! For no reason at all!!!
With the help of the great ProDog Raw team I switched him straight onto the exotics range, I worked out how many grams he needed a day with the online calculator and split that into 2 meals. It’s easy to defrost the tubs in the fridge and he ate it all up straight away, every meal completely gone and his bowl licked clean. Within less than a week everything changed, he stopped attacking himself, his behaviour improved, his eyes were brighter and within 6 weeks all his skin cleared up.
I started with the exotics range and also gave him the Prodog supplement Protect.
Dexter has arthritis, he was 7 years old when I had him. I can recall the vet telling me to keep his weight down. I found this easy on a raw diet and the vet was very impressed at our next appointment because he looked really fit and healthy and hadn’t been limping at all.
I give him the Prodog supplement Flex 4 times a week. I also feed him 2 tins of sardines a week (I wash off most of the tomato sauce) with his raw food and a raw egg with the shell once a week cracked over his dinner.
I have recently started to give him lamb and duck and have had no skin flare ups.
I’m living on a tight budget and find Prodog affordable and great value for money. I believe the putting him onto Prodog Raw and feeding him supplements has saved me a fortune in vets bills and will prolong his life.
Dexters recent worm count was excellent… no worms could be seen (for the 4th time in 2 years). I don’t give him chemicals and don’t give him worm or flea treatments. I found a link directly to a lab through the Prodog website (one of Alison’s brilliant articles) and have a worm count done twice a year. I would highly recommend reading all the free articles on the website, I’ve learned so much and all the information is completely free!
I will order the supplement Repel in March and add it to his food daily through until September. I have personally found this to be the best preventative measure for fleas for Dexter so he doesn’t have to have nasty chemicals that would not be good for his sensitivities. He is a very sensitive dog and now I’ve found what works for him I will always feed Prodog raw, only give him prodog raw treats and will continue with the supplements.
So I think what I’m trying to say is a huge thank you from me and Dexter, I have a happy, healthy, lean 10 year old dog who loves his raw diet… he can’t wait for his breakfast after our morning walk and loves his dinner! I cannot recommend ProDog Raw enough… life changing!
ordered a sample box for my new puppy at 8 weeks,came on time and pretty much frozen(dhl suck but that nothing to do with them as he just throw it next to my door,but ive read reviews about them being late and food unfrozen and customer service not being that good about sorting it so ill pay with paypal just in case ) but my puppy loves it, she was on kibble when i got he a looked bloated and no much energy and runny and smelly poo,but now after a full tub per day, she don't look bloated,way more energy to burn off so she is sleeping more and pooing better, look forward to getting some different meals to try as i got 5 Chicken & Tripe lol so as of now 5 stars

Found some plastic bits in 'Duck Adult'. This is the 5th time. When I switched to 'ProDog', I did mention that my dog is sensitive to 'duck'. (He produces diarrhea). However, the ProDog still sent them in the bundle. So, I changed the bundle to 'Offal free' this time. I'll see if it meets my expectations. The pictures of the plastic bits have been sent to ProDog via email on 25/11/25.
Our Staffie, who was a rescue dog, did not have a constant reliable diet. Since moving to the raw food, and with a little more exercise he has become very 'regular' and much more relaxed. He loves all the different raw food bundles, and is always smiling.
With a very fussy Goldendoodle I am happy to say that he has never once turned his nose up at his ProDog. I no longer have to worry about wasting food so I order the 25kg bundle which is great value as it lasts 50 days. Delivery has always been spot on. Any contact I have made with customer services has been answered extremely quickly and with satisfactory outcomes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to any pawrents looking to feed fab quality raw good to their fur kids
ProDog Raw is such a good raw dog food . I have a monthly subscription set up which is perfect . I buy the offal free as Dalmatians can’t eat offal and there is a good choice of flavours . I wanted to order the Xmas offal free meal (Deer Santa) and contacted customer services who as always were speedy and very helpful . Great product and company .
I have been ordering from ProDog Raw for many years now. I can't say enough about this company, to truly explain how amazing they are. My deliveries are always on time, excellently packaged and always arrive frozen. The advice and support that the company provides is exceptional! When my dog passed away from old age, the company took their time, to make sure I was okay and offered me help and support. Now that I am getting a new addition, they are more than helpful and knowledgeable. Providing me with information to help me start the transition onto raw. ProDogs customer service and knowledge of their product and nutritional advice is great. My dog is loving the food and I wish we’d have switched to raw sooner! His coat is amazing and gut health has definitely improved. Only thing I would say is that the courier service they use is DHL and they can be pretty heavy handed often breaking tubs so advise you keep spare. Customer service however were fab at sending out spare when required.
