I have two cats and believe that they are just as deserving of hiking adventures as dogs are. My partner and I got two backpacks (one Navigator and one Fat Cat) for them, and they are obsessed! They carry super comfortably, and the side pockets are great for carrying my keys and some treats.
Travel Cat /Your Cat Backpack is a great company. I love that they foster a community of folks who use their products. We all support each other and our journeys with our cats. I also love that they have online events to learn more about adventuring with your cat safely, and other cat related topics. Travel Cat isn’t just in the business of selling innovative products for cats, but empowering the humans who care for them. I love the durability of the backpacks, harnesses, and other products. I also love the innovative storage solutions, especially as someone who lives in an apartment. I’m lovingly known as the backpack dealer amongst my friends, because there truly is no better backpack on the market. Every product is created by cat owners and tested by real cats, including founders Emily and Ian’s cats to ensure kitty’s will love each product. Travel Cat truly cares about cat enrichment, safety, and quality items. They also donate products which are slightly flawed and cannot be sold to rescue groups!

Every item is designed with durability in mind — and that is rare today. The health and safety of my cats is my highest concern and I feel safe using products from Travel Cat!
TravelCat has always been my go to for adventure gear! They have a great selection of harnesses and backpacks. Recently, i accidentally bought two harnesses and only needed one. I emailed them and they responded that day and fixed my issue. They are very timely and have great customer service!
I’ve had several backpacks but none were comfortable for my cats and didn’t have the storage space I needed for my hikes. Then I purchased the Navigator backpack on the website and am very happy. I fact I now have 2 in different colors. Lots of room for a cat with all the safety features needed to not confine them. I can pack my water bottles, snacks etc and feel organized. It’s high quality and comfortable to wear and my cats like it so much they want to stay in it, The ordering process was easy and it arrived with no issues.
Truly disappointing. What was advertised wasn't in stock. I was patient and waited. I am the one who had to reach out several times. Nobody made effort to remedy the situation even when I offered to take a partial order. Please treat your customers better.
I've taken my cat Picchu on multiple International and domestic flights using the travel cat travel carrier. I also use the Navigator backpack by Travel cat for city walks and hikes. Over 10 flights and his travel bag is still like new. High quality, durable and well made. Proper ventilation for airflow during long flights. Enough pockets for treats, toys and travel documents. The Navigator we use this almost daily. Super strong for a big cat, very comfortable for long hikes and lots of walking during our travels.I highly recommend any of their bags!
I've been buying a variety of their products for awhile now and I must say that they've really done well in terms of product quality and customer service. Firstly, I own one of their backpacks, portable litterbox, treat pouch, and have bought about 6 harnesses from them. My two cats are still getting used to going outdoors, but we've gotten so many harnesses because a) we liked the colors/style of them and b) their GPS tracking harness is truly the best harness type out there. My cats are a bit squirmy due to nervousness and so they found ways to slip out of a normal vest harness and it always made me worry about something happening. That's why I chose their GPS one because not only does it have a tracker that I could put on a collar if I wanted, but also the H design is much more secure than the vest since they can't slip their arms out. I've also had the issue of a cat being in-between sizes, and have returned many smalls for mediums since even if I measure my cat, it still is technically too small. The process is fairly easy to go through and I've been able to get replacements within a decent amount of time. My only complaint that I have is the lack of color options for certain products. I feel ok with the color options that I got for things like the navigator backpack since gray goes with everything, but their pathfinder harnesses only come in bright orange or blue. Same with their breakaway collars, as they don't always have colors that match a harness and are reflective. I wish that they had more color options or products that all match that aren't a part of sponsor bundles like the Strays or Strawberry Shortcake ones.
