Very good and well worth having incase their are any hiccups when purchasing a car. It's absolutely the most stressful feeling when you've brought a new car and something goes seriously wrong with it but if you have the AA cover it helps greatly to alleviate stress and the pressure of having to fully pay for the repairs. I did decide to pay upfront for the repairs and claim it back as this was a quicker process of getting my car fixed however if your claim is approved you can leave you car at the garage until the AA pay them directly which usually does take longer to process but its still better then having to pay a lump sum of money.
AA came out to me when some lights came up on my car, we hadn’t set up our cover at the time that came with the car so we paid for the call out but this was refunded as promised once the cover was set up. Then we contacted the AA with a claim, the car was booked in for diagnostic and approved within a couple of days and once the car was fixed the money was sent to me straight away. Brilliant service
Terrible service. I received the warranty documents a month after i purchased and received the car. This meant only got 2 months cover when i was meant to have 3 months cover. The car broke down in the first month and I had nobody to call. When I received the documents a month late I stated all the problems I had had an was repeatedly told" We don't cover that". I definitely would not use or recommend AA warranty they are very unhelpful. I even had to replace the windscreen the vehicle arrived not as advertised and had engine warning lights illuminated on the dashboard. The start n stop system has never worked. The MOT certificate dated the day before purchase said Repair as soon as possible. The AA warranty and the trader were no help at all.
It took two weeks for the problem to be solved. Communication between the garage and AA was extremely poor and I was forced to intervene almost on a daily basis. Getting in touch with the AA claims department was incredibly difficult and it usually took almost an hour to get through.
