I registered on Pure.app, uploaded a standard profile photo and a short description — that’s all. I paid for a subscription via their website using a QR code on July 9th, 2025.After logging in again, I was instantly banned without explanation. No chats, no matches, nothing. I reached out to support — they sent me a vague message about violating guidelines but refused to explain what exactly I did wrong.I asked for a refund because I didn’t use the service at all. They ignored my request. This feels like a scam: you pay, get locked out, and then support hides behind generic rules.Pure, if you're reading this: unblock my account or refund my money.User ID: da92aed31b764afa9facae06Terrible experience. I strongly advise others to avoid this app.
Absolute scam they pay girls to pretend to be local and strike up a conversation based on your profile, of course extracting as much money for pure that they can in the process and then when you suggest meeting they disappear never to connect again.AVOID highly illegal practices-Cost £100 1 month no likes
No refund. You don't get what you pay for. Dangerously sharp item. They offer store credits, although it says they will refund. Then under another company name they charge you 29.99 for a discount club (I'm guessing here) until you find the charge and dispute it with them, but they are hanging on to the first payment made. WOW what a BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!NEVER AGAN
Non-functional app without any people online, the customer support is non existent - they just have an AI who gives very random answers to very detailed and specific questions.Furthermore, you have to pay before entering (which is OK if your app is functional) but once you paid... you discover there is 0 people on the app using it. It's really a scam. Then, according to their terms and conditions, if you buy the subscription through their website, you are entitled to a refund within 14 days if you are residing in the EU. I am residing in the EU, but their AI-chatbot will not listen to this and keeps saying I have to tell the app store, while I made it very clear I bought my subscription on their own website.AVOID THIS APP AT ALL COST.
It's just for the girls to find the most handsome and tallest men but if you are a guy you will get nothing and it's the most expensive app out there for dating! Just get another one not this one but the matrix here is strong just the girls get everything and a male doesn't get nothing if he is not in the top percentage of men!EDIT: Everytime I see their ad on YouTube it makes me hate women.
PURE is like wrapping a scam in a thin layer of Instagram polish and serving it cold with a side of bots and broken dreams. The app looks fine — until you realize it’s just a pay-to-play cattle market where privacy is a punchline and your wallet is the main course. Half the “users” are fake, the other half act like they just crawled out of a Reddit thread titled “How to Be the Worst Human Alive.” It’s basically Tinder’s sleazier cousin who swears he’s “different” while robbing you blind. If you enjoy wasting money, losing faith in humanity, and getting ghosted by bots programmed in 2013, congratulations — you’ve found your new hell.
Given 2 stars because the one connection I made on there looks promising, but that connection was made more by luck than judgement.Pure is an anonymous dating app that, in theory, seems great for hookups and short-term fun, but in practice is barely functional unless you spend a lot (and I do mean A LOT) of money. It works like this: as with most dating apps, you browse the meat market and "like" people you find interesting. If they find your profile and "like" you back, a match occurs and a chat opens. Exceeeeeeeeeptttt… in practice that doesn't happen, because in order to see who has liked you and therefore more easily like them back you have to pay for a subscription. Problem is, it's expensive, so most people don't bother. An alternative is paying for "instant chats" - which are £3.29 each or cheaper if you buy in bulk - which allow you to send a message without matching. What typically happens is that this chat - which is on a timer, by the way - is either left unread until it expires, or immediately cancelled by the recipient without explanation, or you are flirted with by a scambot which then tries to sell you crypto, or it turns out that the person with "HORNY, NEEDS HOOKUPS NOW!!!!1!!" on their profile flirts with you until they're bored, then ghosts you.You will have likely spent a minimum of £50 at this point.Avoid. The likelihood of you making a connection is very, very slim - and I say this as someone who has a prospective relationship on the horizon thanks to this app.
Absolute terrible dating app. Full of time wasters that leave the conversation expecting the guys to do all the talking. They say nothing interesting and it's back to square one, again and again. Not a single thing to do here, apart from reading boring adverts from women looking for fun. Most women are ugly, but expect Brad Pitt. The Devil's Bones is useless. Average wait time is about 1 hour. Filters are useless as well. Most women looking for an actual relationship are, guess what?... Overseas. It gets worse! Some of the adverts are censored. They ask you to agree to unblur "so-called" sensitive content. Which isn't sensitive at all. Excuse me, Pure Dating. Isn't this app for 18 and above? Why ask users to unblur content? Feels like a childish game. This app is not free. Minimum membership is for 1 week costing £9.99 in the UK. You'd be better off throwing your money down the drain. It's probably more fun than you'll have on this garbage. If you actually value your time and money. Avoid this terrible dating app. Even Tinder's free membership is better than this, and that's terrible as well. But at least it's free.Pure Dating. Please do not reply to this review with excuses. Your app is pathetic and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
