All Radical, No Storage

The directions to the storage location led through a concrete wall to a vacant lot. We opted to go around the concrete wall, as going over it with two suitcases looked a bit challenging, but the vacant lot wasn’t a great storage option. No-one in the vicinity had ever heard of the shop where we were supposed to store our suitcases. We only needed storage for 3 hours and after 2 hours of struggling around in the rain with no storage in sight, we contacted Radical Storage. On the up-side, they were pretty quick to respond by email. But, on the downside, they required me to provide a photo of the shop - the shop that didn’t exist!! After several more emails containing unhelpful suggestions, they confirmed that they would refund the storage fee. Weeks later, when the refund had not arrived, I emailed again and got a response saying that, because weeks had passed, they would not refund me. When I pointed out that the delay was only because they had not processed the refund as promised, they claimed to have no record of agreeing to refund me. If “Radical Storage” can’t even store emails …..? When I forwarded the earlier emails in PDF, they finally confirmed that they would process the refund. So if, instead of enjoying your holiday, you want to waste hours looking for a storage place that doesn’t exist, end up not being able to store your luggage at all, and then more hours in frustrating email exchanges to get your money back (which you will only get if you have kept the evidence), then Radical Storage is the “service” for you. Zero stars. Oh - and I still haven’t got the refund yet.
