Review Time
I would give zero stars if possible. I reserved two vehicles for six individuals, but the first arrived 20 minutes late, followed by the second one arriving another 10 minutes after that. As a result, we missed our ferry and I will never choose this service again.
The drivers were friendly and accommodating, but the organization is severely lacking. I used them twice recently, booked in advance, yet they only seemed to arrange drivers after the scheduled time. I had to call them both times; the first time they were annoyed I was following up about my train (they were 20 minutes late), and the second time the voicemail calmly stated the taxi would arrive in 10 minutes, even after it was already 8 minutes late. They don’t seem to prioritize booking times.
Emailed a booking request which was processed exactly as planned. Following that, I made a return request without a specified time. As advised, I called the company, and the booking was confirmed. The taxi arrived within minutes - exactly as it should be: quick, easy, and prompt. Credit where it’s due, great service!
Recently had an accident in town and was unable to walk. I was assisted into a taxi by bystanders. The driver took me to A&E, and throughout the ride, he was considerate and attentive. Upon arrival, he went inside to fetch a medical staff member to assist me with a wheelchair. His support was greatly appreciated. I should also mention that I consistently use this service as I have always found them dependable.
I have been booking this service for years, and aside from an occasional issue, all drivers have been excellent, making me feel safe, and pick-up times are reliable. The phone operators are equally good and friendly. I won a competition through the service and was picked up in a luxurious limousine, with a delightful meal at a local venue, and there was no wait for our ride home. Besides the competition, I would always recommend this service.
I had arranged for my taxi to arrive at 3:15 PM, but it showed up at 3:40 PM. Since I had pre-booked, I didn't expect to wait, especially without any communication or apology. I called the office twice while waiting, only to be told it was on its way. It started to rain at 3:20, and while I was waiting on a street corner, I got soaked. At 84 years old, this isn't ideal. I am a regular customer and didn't expect to be treated this way. Most drivers know me and my usual routes, but I didn't recognize this one. I will consider other options.
