I purchased new long adventure motorcycle boots full length in September; however, they have been in use only 6 times since purchase. They have been used in wet conditions once and failed to keep my feet dry during the second use.
The boots are advertised on Amazon as “Waterproof and breathable. Stay dry with a waterproof membrane and breathable polyester – ideal for all weather, all season long”. In addition, the Amazon under “features & Specs lists the boots as “waterproof”. these boots are not waterproof, this is also a message, copied and pasted to here from the seller..
"Please note that Darwin Boots meet the EN 13634:2017 water resistance standard.
They are waterproof from the sole up to 2 cm above the sole line.
To pass the test, any dampness inside the boot must not exceed 3 cm²".
not even waterproof shoes ? my left boot leaked between the sole and boot, they offered an inspection of the boots of which would of taken up to 7 weeks, not acceptable as I will be needing boots in the spring for protection of my feet and legs, the description also states 12 months guarantee, not true in this case. I just think other buyers should know this, thanks.

I emailed customer service ref: replacement motorcycle boot clip as it keeps popping open while walking or riding , the boots are about 3 years old and wasn’t making a claim I offered to purchase them , however Raxid customer service said they would post two pairs at no cost .
I purchased a pair of the Basta V boots but unfortunately I needed a size bigger. I contacted customer service and they sent out a new pair of boots on overnight delivery and they arrived just in time for my road trip to Spain.Seldom if ever, have I come across better service than this, they truly went that extra mile to get me my boots in time.I have no hesitation in recommending Raxid to all my biker friends. If I could award them 6 stars I would.
I Can't fault Raxid had a pair of Exodus adventure boots which were well worn and out of warranty one of the straps broke, I contacted their customer service to ask if spares were available and they replied within hours and told me they are sending out replacement straps FOC, 5*
