Extremely unprofessional service.

The service is incredibly unprofessional. They require IDs in-store when dropping off items, yet don’t ask for ID when sending items to their warehouse. Their internal system is dysfunctional, leading to a two-week wait for processing. They consistently lower the prices for items, despite having all the necessary details and acknowledging them in-store. Unlike other services that provide immediate price tags, this one takes far too long. In my experience, it was excessively prolonged. They mishandled my return of a luxury item, sending it back without confirming my return address and ultimately losing my package. Their claim of rejecting the item due to authenticity issues is outrageous, especially since it was purchased from an official retailer. They lack proper authentication skills and fail to uphold their pricing promises. Overall, they are unreliable and come across as a scam. Their store resembles a low-end secondhand shop compared to others that provide genuine luxury experiences. If you're seeking quality, I recommend looking elsewhere.

We asked Rebag to ship back our consigned bags. It took them over 6 weeks (not days, not 2 weeks – six full weeks) and then they shipped everything to California when we live in Florida. Every single one of our waiting customers cancelled because of the insane delay. Supervisor Brandol repeatedly promised $500 credit per bag to make it right. He then sent only $200 total, denied ever saying $500, and stopped answering us completely. Straight-up lied to our faces. Lost thousands in sales and all trust in Rebag. Never again.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Rebag. It has now been 7 weeks since they received my bag, and I still have no funds available. Every time I ask for an update, I get vague answers with no timeline. On top of that, when I asked about withdrawing my money, I was told that once the funds finally become available, I’d have to leave them in the account for another 15 days to avoid a 3% withdrawal fee. So realistically, I’m being told to wait over 2 months, maybe even 3 months just to access money that Rebag already owes me.I even requested to have my item returned, and they completely ignored my request. This experience has been incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend Rebag to anyone based on the lack of transparency, excessive delays, and poor customer service. I’ll never sell with them again.

They really deserve zero stars

They really deserve zero stars. They used to be quicker with processing buyout items you sell to them. However, their “policy” has changed recently, and for the worst. The slimiest part about it, is they were not at all upfront about the “new extended time” when I accepted their offer and agreed to sell my items to them. They have that info on their website but not where you would see it before you agree to sell to them. You have to look up processing time to find their new policy. You wouldn’t think to automatically check this, when you’ve sold to them before without issue. So I had no clue things had changed so badly, until I inquired why I had not received my payment. It seems like they are having serious cash flow issues and are delaying payment for items you sell to them. They operate like they are “ robbing Peter to pay Paul” so to speak and all under the guise of a “policy change for better quality”…….All lies in my opinion. Plus, if you ask for your item back because they are taking way too long to pay you, they say they cannot send it back to you because you are past some make believe time frame……. Again more lies. I wouldn’t sell anything more them at this point, because I don’t think they have the money to pay for it. Better companies are Fashionphile, Bag Borrow or Steal, The Real Real, and The Vestaire Collection. At the rate Rebag is going, they’ll be getting sued/filing for bankruptcy and/or going out of business before long. And they well deserve all of what’s coming for them.

Rebag used to be reliable and prompt

Rebag used to be reliable and prompt. Trades, selling, buying, used to day a few days. Now they are up to 5 weeks and they are exceeding that. I was promised a buy out date and time and they failed to meet that date when I reached out they claimed there was a glitch in their system. There was a glitch in their system 2 months prior when I was waiting for a packing slip but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Seems to be common practice for them. In their buy out section you can now only receive the full offer if you keep it in your Rebag wallet for 30 days, otherwise they take 3%.

Warning to sellers

Warning to sellers: don’t ship your luxury items to Rebag with their prepaid label. If it’s lost, you’ll never see a refund.

I would give it zero stars if I could

I would give it zero stars if I could. I sold a few bags on there and the process took 3 months after they received the items. Now that I finally have the “deposit”, I have to wait ANOTHER 15 days otherwise I get penalized for “early withdrawal”. This is a joke, buyer and seller beware!

Avoid like the plague! Totally corrupt! They completely misrepresent the product and when you try to return for absolutely horrific quality they charge you $70 to return.

Don't sell your bags to Rebag.com

I have sold handbags to Rebag previously, but their policies have changed this year, without warning to their customers. They give you a quote for the bag you intend to sell. If you accept, they send you a prepaid label. Upon receipt of the bag, they now list the bag on their site, sell it, and still don't pay the seller for up to 5 weeks or more. And, consignment was not chosen as my option. I accepted a lower price for immediate payment. I am very nervous that I won't see my money. This company is obviously in very big financial trouble. I intend to file a complaint with the BBB. Send your bags to the RealReal. You will do much better and get paid quicker with them.
