The platform seems to be aiming for perfection, but my experience has been far from satisfactory. The results I received were consistently below expectations. It struggled to follow simple binary prompts; for instance, when I requested a three-legged monster, it produced one with only two legs. Each attempt to correct it with clearer prompts still yielded the same unsatisfactory outcome, resulting in wasted credits. It feels almost intentional. This isn't merely a learning curve with prompting; the results are simply poor. The subscription model is frustrating, with limited prompt credits that feel restrictive. I would prefer a straightforward subscription where I could prompt freely until I achieve my desired outcome, with an additional monthly fee if necessary. Additionally, the advertised pricing of ten per month for the basic plan is misleading since it requires an annual payment—this feels deceptive. I initially tried free credits and received good results, so I’m confused why the paid service has performed so poorly. It seems the platform profits more the worse the model performs. There are no clear instructions or best practices provided. While you can switch between different model variations, there’s no information on what to expect, and some options require a significant number of credits for results that often don’t meet requests. I won’t be continuing with this service. While I hope the technology improves, the lack of transparency and the subscription-plus-credit model are major turn-offs.
While the service claims impressive accolades and achievements, the reality is far from what is advertised. The product fails to function as promised, and it seems the company's primary focus is on securing funding rather than delivering a quality experience. They don’t even provide basic company information on their website, leaving users in the dark about who is behind this application. My experience has been extremely frustrating. I paid for a membership but have spent more time requesting fixes for the app than actually creating new assets. My tokens remain unused as there’s no productive way to utilize them. User discussions reveal numerous persistent bugs, and the rare responses from the company often seem insincere. From what I’ve gathered, this appears to be a venture run by a group of inexperienced individuals with little regard for user experience. I’m hesitant to upload any of my company's graphics to their servers. My recommendation is to avoid this service; don’t be misled.
“Recraft has been included in Accel's 2025 Europe AI 100”, “Recraft is the first AI image generation company to earn AIUC-1”, “this is how Recraft helps designers balance creativity, quality, and speed”..This kind of information you can find in official channels, but the truth is the product doesn’t work as is marketed and entire activity of the company is about getting new round of funding. Recraft company doesn’t even publish company data on their website, so it’s unclear who stands behind this internet application. My experience is devastating. I actually paid for membership, since then I’m not occupied of creating new assets but rather constantly asking for fixing the app, my tokens are not touched as there’s no option I can use them productively. If you check users discussion on company’s board you can find numerous bugs existing for months, and the company rare answers are focused on pretending that they actually are able to fix it. From what I managed to find, this is endeavour of group of Russian origin teenagers. They playing the startup game without the slightest decency or concern for anything. I’m afraid of uploading my company’s graphical assets to their servers. My advice is - stay away, don’t get fooled.
The slogan in the title, featured in the application, accurately reflects the company's philosophy.I used to run the app for testing from time to time. Finally, tempted by Black Friday offer decided to buy a subscription, to create private assets. Well, the key features like custom style creation don't work in paid plan, and constant notifications that “something went wrong” only cause my frustration. While searching for information and solution, I noticed that the company's forum is full of reported bugs, apparently the same ones for months. It doesn't seem like anyone cares about customers. I have no idea where and how to request a refund for my subscription. Observing the changes in the application and communication, it is clear that the company is busy adding new UI models or making pointless UX changes instead of ensuring the smooth operation of basic functionalities. I'd prefer quality over quantity.Honestly, the old models were good enough for my needs, and I don't feel the need to argue with a bot.By the way, the “create new style part” interface looks like an MVP mockup rather than a finished production feature due to its slightly off visual language. I suspect that the team also uses the application for their own purposes, so it's no surprise that they failed to create the right designs. Well, functionally it is not even MVP..The idea was cool, but unfortunately, the company cannot survive on marketing alone. I understand that funding and revenues are okay for now, but it won't last long. I strongly advise against both using and investing in this amateurish venture.
It's a massive waste of money. I’ve been trying for a while to get good results, even using the paid version, but no matter how much time I spend tweaking my prompts, the images just don't come out right. It doesn't stick to the styles I set, and half the time it doesn’t even follow the prompt properly. On top of that, there’s no clear way to get in touch with their team if you run into issues, which just makes the whole experience even more frustrating. At this point, it honestly feels like a massive rip-off. I had high hopes for it, but sadly, it’s just not worth it.
I subscribed to Recraft AI's annual Advanced Plan during their Black Friday sale. In February 2025, the platform experienced a complete service failure lasting over 5 days. During this time, users couldn't access ANY generated content - the core function we paid for. What followed was deeply concerning:1) No official announcement about the outage2) Support staff with no information about the problem3) Premature claims that "everything is fixed" when it wasn't4) When requested, they DENIED my refund by claiming it was a "minor issue" affecting only "History view" despite their own team confirming they "worked all weekend" to fix itOnly after filing formal complaints with consumer protection authorities and my bank did they suddenly reverse course and provide the refund - while still downplaying the severity.Their handling showed concerning patterns: delayed responses, inconsistent information, dismissive attitudes toward legitimate concerns, and attempting to reframe a complete service failure as something minor. If you're considering Recraft, be aware that when their service fails, they may minimize the problem and resist providing appropriate remedies until faced with regulatory pressure.
WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE!!! I accidentally stumbled across this gem looking for an Ai to solve a specific thing. 1 week later, i find myself paying monthly. My Adobe pack is about to run out, and no way in hell can I pay for the new prices. With a little flexibility, this might allow me to replace it. I really wish I could modify the images a bit more with my own hands, but, to sum it up. it's a giant work surface where you can just do projects on and get creative for whatever the reason. The Ai gen is REALLY good, I came for that (after many let downs) and staid for the unique UI and the beautifully created images. The app is good right now. But to be honest, I'm more keen to see this in a couple of years. on a good track and I deffinately suggest you give it aq go. The free side of it is enough to let you see how poweerful it is and doesn't hold back on quality. They are basically saying "We have so many features that we will give you HQ for free". I'm yet to come across another Ai that is as versatile and multifunctional as this one. You can go from scrap book idea to final version in the same place (depending on what you need to do). for now I'm still sending the images to my Photoshop to change very detailed things or deep modify.TRY IT!
I signed up and paid for service, but I can't even access the service because the verification codes needed to log in are not being sent to me. I've checked everything on my end – email spam folders, retrying multiple times – but no luck. What makes this worse is that I contacted their support team over a week ago, and I haven’t received any response. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for a service and get zero access or assistance. At this point, I feel like my money has been wasted, and I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone until they fix their support and login issues.
