Wow this was a fantastic experience! The factory tour was really, really interesting and Neil was a wonderful tour guide. He explained every area of production so we all understood what was going on and he made it really enjoyable. It was so much better that we were expecting.
We also had a lovely cup of coffee and cake in the really nice cafe area, included in the price.
We were then able to have a good look round the extensive museum which in itself was very interesting and well presented. The souvenir shop was good to! All in all well worth a visit
The worst possible present ever.
The voucher gets you to book an experience then you try to book the venue only to find that it is only available when it is not busy, meaning, for example you need to go during the working day in the middle of the week. SO you finally try to book an even only to find that the RLD website comes back with an error and wont let you book..... SO you try to contact customer services an they give you an AI BOT response which doesn't answer your message but offers you to message an agent...Except all their agents are busy...so they keep you waiting telling you that they are so busy you can terminate the message and they will email you...DON'T BOTHER GIVING THIS AS A GIFT TO A FRIEND!!!!!! It has been completely stressful at every point of the experience and if I ever get to book it, it will be in a place I don't really want to go to or at a time or day that I would want to either.....
Where to start. We received a gift from my Mum last March. Logged in to see £169.99 in the balance which was already significantly less than the £200 my mum paid with no explanation.
Said it was for a 2 night overnight stay. Tried to book somewhere but there was nothing within that price range or even close. Spent months and months trying to find something but there was literally nothing that didn't require a £400 top up.
Even thought sod it let's go for a premier inn somewhere for one night. The rate shown was £389. That particular premier inn that night direct with premier inn was £74!
Gave up for months and tried again, logged in and the balance was now £149.99 for absolutely no reason.
With the year running out we opted for a spa day just to us the voucher. There was one in the price range advertising drink, lunch and a treatment. Upon arrival we were told by the hotel that lunch wasn't included in our package as not spent enough!
The whole process is a shame, avoid completely.
My wife was gifted a voucher for her 60th birthday by her daughter. The voucher states "Overnight Country Escape with Dinner for Two". This is totally mis-leading. When we tried to book this we found a very limited selection of hotels and each booking would have required an additional payment of a minimum of £122. We obviously didn't proceed and feel duped and so Red letter days have made money for nothing.
I received a spa voucher as a gift, where I chose Walton Hall Hotel and Spa as my experience. I had an awful experience in trying to book with them over the phone; this being the only option. I was never successfully able to get through to them on the 6 separate occasions I contacted them on. These were all on different days at different points in the day. I contacted Red Letter Days and explained the situation to them. I spoke with an agent by the name of Yandisa who was absolutely amazing. She understood my frustration and dealt with the situation quickly. Yandisa also expressed contacting Walton Hall Hotel and Spa twice during the time when my issue was being looked into and they were also unsuccessful. Yandisa, thank you for being so professional, efficient understanding when resolving this matter. You also gave me a 15% on top of my credit amount which is something that I didn't expect. Thank you for being so amazing and for resolving thus issue for me.

I ordered an flying experience for my partners 50th in April 2025. When to redeem the voucher in June and the experience was no longer available on red letter days. I contact the terrible customer service bot - to be told I am no longer eligible for a refund as it has passed 30 days from purchase! They failed to provide me with what i purchased. They then said they can give me a credit voucher - while still unhappy I thought fine. In November i booked 3 separate vouchers for my Sons for a karting experience. His birthday in in May and thought my partner and sons can have a good day out. Tried to redeem the voucher and no dates was available - again on to terrible service BOT to be told more dates will be available keep checking... its now Feb still no dates on Red Letter Days. on the karting site itself dates are available ready to book., back to trusty Customer BOT. to be told they cant see any dates again and, low and behold they will now issue me with a credit voucher again! the vouchers now expire in May.. i paid extra on top of the original voucher to get these and now even more money is being held by ransom by RLD! its a never ending circle until i either give up and loose the money I paid or the mental torment of speaking to a robot who is very sympathetic to my cause but wont actually do anything to help but will happily ask for your feedback!
Terrible experience. I have been struggling to use my voucher for weeks and their customer service is awful. It takes forever for someone to help and they keep just reissuing a voucher that I can’t use. This was a birthday gift so really disappointed. Looks like I won’t be able to use my voucher!
I bought two gifts for sports car driving experiences, and they arrived within a few days. The packaging was impressive, and the quality of the presentation envelope was outstanding. I'm excited to give these gifts and hope that redeeming them will be a smooth process. I'll provide an update on my experience soon.
Avoid wasting your time and money. My daughter put in the effort to arrange a special outing for my wife, but we couldn't enjoy it due to ongoing system errors. Communication is impossible, as they don't answer calls or respond to messages. It feels like they have no regard for their customers, which is nearly fraudulent.
