After receiving a marketing email featuring a plate I liked, I decided to buy it using my credit card right away. However, a week later, I had not received any confirmation of my purchase, and my online account did not show the transaction, even though my money had been deducted. It seems they either didn't actually have the plate available, made a pricing mistake, or sold it to someone else at a higher price. This was meant to be a direct sale, including VAT, not a commission arrangement. Communication is lacking unless they are reaching out to sell more plates. They mentioned a refund has been processed, but it has yet to reflect on my card.
