I bought an Apple Watch Series 5 through Wowcher I paid £79 plus and extra £9.99 delivery. Delivery date was today. Didn’t receive any emails to say my order had been processed or shipped so got in touch with the company which had to be through email and they still have even processed the order. Customers services is 0/10, reliability 0/10 I don’t expect pay nearly £90 out of my hard earned money for service this mediocre.
I received a voucher for a Chromebook through a promotional platform and ended up paying an additional £9.99 for delivery. It was supposed to arrive by December 4th, but it never did. Following the provided instructions, I emailed the support team, only to receive an automated response stating my number wasn't recognized and questioning whether I had redeemed my voucher. When I attempted to reply, my emails bounced back. I sent numerous emails to confirm my order details, but eventually, I was directed back to the promotional platform. There is no proper customer service for either the seller or the platform; communication is limited to a messaging bot. They have now told me to return to the seller, and the frustrating cycle continues. After reading numerous reviews, it's evident they operate unethically. I strongly advise against using their services.
I got a voucher for a Lenovo Chromebook through Wowcher which I redeemed and had to pay an extra £9.99 for delivery. I was to have it delivered by 4th December. It did not arrive, so i follwed instructions to and emailed them and the auto response said it didn't recognise my number on their system and asked I had redeemed my voucher. When I replied it was undeliverable and emails kept bouncing back. I sent so many emails with all of the information to confirm my order. Eventually I was told to go back to Wowcher . There is no customer service for either Renew or Wowcher- you cannot speak to anyone. You have to WhatsApp a message and converse with a bot. They have now told me to go back to Renew Electronics. And so the cycle continues. After reading all of these reviews it's clear they are a scamming company. DO NOT USE.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a series 6 Apple Watch from Renew Electronics in November for £175. I got a voucher through Wowcher. The watch arrived on the 7th. The face of the watch was covered in deep scratches. I returned it the same day it arrived via Tracked post with DPD back to Renew Electronics who received it on the 10th November. I had to request a refund through Wowcher. Renew Electronics e mailed me and said my refund would take 5 days but I would have to contact Wowcher for this. I keep getting passed around via What’s App to Wowcher (speaking to a bot) and then to Renew Electronics. They have now refused to contact me as I’ve repeatedly asked for my refund. Absolute joke of a company. I would have expected better from Wowcher and also wish I had read the reviews about Renew Electronics before I made this purchase. I am £175 down and don’t expect to get it back as it’s impossible to speak to anyone about my issue. Save your money and don’t bother with Wowcher or Renew Electronics.
Renew Electronics and Ultimo Electronics have been the worst companies I have ever dealt with, and their behaviour borders on fraudulent.I originally ordered a 44mm Apple Watch Series 4 GPS and Cellular in Space Grey from Renew Electronics through a Wowcher voucher. I received it on 22/09/25. It arrived scratched, dirty and with a weak battery. It did not resemble a refurbished product.I returned the device on 26/09/25. They confirmed receipt on 02/10/25. From that point they dragged the refund out with constant delays, excuses and repeated copy and paste messages. They kept giving dates for when the refund would be issued. None of those dates were honoured.Instead of refunding me, Ultimo Electronics sent an unsolicited replacement device without my consent on 12/11/25. It went to the wrong address and I never received it. They then tried to link my refund to a 30 working day Royal Mail investigation for a parcel I never asked for and never had. This felt like a tactic used by scam style companies to avoid issuing refunds.Both companies ignored the fact that they had already received my original return in early October. Under consumer law, they should have refunded me within 14 days. Instead they refused to take responsibility and tried to shift the blame to courier errors and their own unauthorised shipment.Their behaviour has been suspicious, evasive and misleading. They rely on fake timelines, contradictory information and circular excuses. It felt like dealing with scammers from start to finish.**EDIT:** Only after I posted this review on 14/11/25 did they suddenly email me today (17/11/25) claiming the refund had now been processed. Instead of sending the money back to my original payment method, Wowcher added an £85 wallet credit to my account. This is useless to me because I will never use Wowcher again. I now have to go through yet another painful process to try to force Wowcher to actually refund the money back to my card.Avoid Renew Electronics and Ultimo Electronics at all costs. Their customer service is dishonest, their practices are questionable and they should not be trusted on any platform.
This company is a fraudulent company who ive reported to the authority of financial regulation and turns out they are not even registered. They are not being investigated and so is wowcha who would be aware of this. You can also see that they have been in liquidation several times and have opened new limited companies to avoid being found. Unfortunately you chose the wrong customer as ive done law and business and know my legal rights. I also dont take kindly to anyone who gets between me and my money.
I purchased a Chromebook and paid for express delivery. The delivery date given was when I was going to be at home. I log on to find the delivery date has changed, so I contact Renew to change the delivery address as the product has not been. Shipped.Was told they couldn't change the delivery address, which is strange as other companies can, especially since the product had not been shipped.So, product arriving when not home, so I asked for it to be delivered the following day, when I would be at home. No, I was told, can't chamge them delivery date So now it will sit in the post office and be returned as I am not able to receive it.Great customer service.Well done
Worst company ever. Send back a watch 3 weeks ago and I still have to wait till next week to get my refund. The grade B silver 44mm watch turned out to be an unusable blue grade M. Absolutely shocking sending someone out that for £155 🤮 also selling iPads that don’t update anymore which is useless when using apps.
