On my first visit today, I was thoroughly impressed! There were many amazing cheeses and a variety of cheese-related products to explore. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I got to sample numerous cheeses before making my selection. The hardest part was trying not to eat too much at once, as everything was absolutely delicious. I can see myself returning frequently!
I received my first order of Spenwood today. The cheese is magnificent! The aroma, the exterior, everything exudes quality. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price; if it were 25% cheaper, it would be a 5. Question: Do you age cheeses to allow them to fully mature for 36 months or more? If I purchased a whole wheel, would you store it for me for a fee?
I visited the shop today. It had a lovely atmosphere and enthusiastic salespeople. There was a great selection of cheeses. Unfortunately, I was overcharged. I paid just over £20 in cash, but upon reviewing the cost at home based on the price tags, the total was £17.91, excluding the small paper bag. It’s too far to return and discuss this with the staff.
After ordering two mystery Christmas boxes as gifts along with cheese for ourselves, we were disheartened to find that the softer cheeses had been squashed and were unsuitable as gifts, as were the crackers. A quick call to the support team and a visit to the shop resolved everything without any hassle 😊. We even treated ourselves to chutney and a beautiful cheeseboard with a cheese knife! Thank you to the amazing team for their outstanding customer service; we look forward to reviewing the goodies on Christmas Day!
I just received my mystery cheese box. The only issue I had was that the box arrived damaged. I wasn't sure what cheeses to expect due to it being a mystery box, but all the cheeses were absolutely fantastic and tasted divine. I highly recommend giving them a try if you love cheese; you won't be disappointed.
