I just started using Rentredi for my rental property in Florida. I listed my property on Rentredi and in less then 2 days I found found a qualified Tenant and signed a lease in less then a week. Rentredi is great, easy to use and their support staff has been very helpful with all my questions. I highly recommend Rentredi
On the app of RentRedi, I saw that I would be charged $951 for my rent of $950. I didn’t proceed with the registration of my card details because I want to do it later. I am surprised because they actually charged my card $980.70 when all I did was go back to the page of payment options. I didn’t even get the chance the confirm my payment. Now Jorge, the customer service agent, keeps telling me I couldn’t get my full money back because I agreed to it especially the convenience fee. But I didn’t even get to select any confirmation because their app glitched. They are telling me to contact ProPay because they are the ones handling it. But they don’t do anything about it.Now they were saying that since my card was saved in the system and I didn’t fill out the bank information for the $1, the system automatically charged the card. The supervisor told me that they couldn’t do anything about it. They were saying they have a video of my activity. If that is the case, why can’t they show me the full video of the activity where I have seen the glitch of $951 then being deducted of $980?
I enjoy the ease of rentredi. They have the ability to run reports also you can do maintenance request and gives the tenant the option to pay in different ways and they notify you pretty quickly. If there’s a return of rent, customer service is also pretty knowledgeable.
I used RentRedi for several years, but no longer needed it because I moved to Zrent in Sept of 2024. I cancelled RentRedi in Sept 2024. I received confirmation that it was cancelled. In July of 2025, I noticed I was still being billed for it.. so reached out and showed them that I cancelled it in Sept of 2024. RentRedi acknowledged that I did cancel it in Sept 2024 but due to a glitch with Stripe they never stopped billing it. They said that technically because I still had access to the system, they would not refund me for the 10 months. They refunded for 1 month. I did not know I had access because I was not using it. I would not recommend this company for this very reason.
A Masterclass in Frustration: My Experience with RentRediIf you're a landlord looking for a property management solution that actively works against you, congratulations, you've found it in RentRedi. My time with this platform has been a case study in baffling design choices, inconsistent functionality, and customer support that seems trained to deflect rather than resolve. It's a service that promises simplicity but delivers a tangled mess of inconvenience for both landlords and tenants.A Tale of Two Platforms: The Mobile-Only FarceLet's start with the most glaring issue: RentRedi's bizarre insistence on a mobile-first approach that cripples anyone using a desktop. For tenants, accessing basic features without downloading the mobile app is a needlessly difficult scavenger hunt. Why force a download for simple tasks like communication or maintenance requests? It's an unnecessary barrier that immediately sours the tenant experience, reflecting poorly on the landlord who chose the platform. The irony is that while tenants are chained to the mobile app, landlords are paradoxically chained to their desktops. Trying to manage applications or perform core administrative tasks from a mobile browser is an exercise in futility. The interface is a poorly adapted, clunky version of the desktop site that feels like an afterthought. In a world where managing business on the go is standard, RentRedi feels a decade behind."Improvements" That Nobody Asked ForRentRedi seems to suffer from a perpetual identity crisis, constantly rolling out feature "updates" that have no discernible benefit to the landlord's workflow. Core functionalities remain clunky, yet development time is spent on cosmetic changes or new features that complicate rather than streamline the process. It's frustrating to see a platform ignore fundamental usability issues while patting itself on the back for irrelevant modifications. We aren't asking for more bells and whistles; we're asking for the existing bells and whistles to actually work reliably. The Support Gauntlet and the Android "App" JokeWhen you inevitably run into problems, prepare to enter the support gauntlet. The front-line agents appear to be working from a very limited script, often providing generic, unhelpful advice that shows a clear lack of understanding of the platform's own intricacies. After experiencing multiple platform failures while on vacation, I made a simple request for a $40 credit for the trouble. Instead of offering any sort of resolution, the support agent, Angelica, opted to send me instructions on how to cancel my service. This perfectly encapsulates their support philosophy: if you have a problem, their preferred solution is for you to leave. Getting a concrete solution feels like winning the lottery. And for Android users, the so-called "app" is nothing short of a disgrace. It's not a native application; it's a glorified wrapper for their web browser, offering no performance benefits and all of the drawbacks. It's slow, inconvenient, and a lazy attempt to check a box without investing in a proper mobile tool for a huge segment of their user base. Conclusion: Avoid at All CostsRentRedi is a shining example of a good idea executed poorly. Its foundational logic is riddled with contradictions, its user experience is inconvenient by design, and its support structure is inadequate. It creates problems for tenants and landlords alike, turning simple property management into a daily source of frustration. Save your money, your time, and your sanity—look elsewhere.
