$4000 and I still dont have a viable app. Customer service continues to not solve the problems and ive spent at least a thousand dollars repairing the same bugs over and over and over. It lies about fixing the issues, it is not fixed or credited or any sort of recognition to a problem which should be refunded for not doing what the app should do. Its a rip off. Youre better off hiring a developer this app will just steal your money

We were working on an advertising website called 12dollarsperclick.net and replit decided to ban the website for being a scam. We are over 20k members on that site who all lost our advertising platform, This is a legitimate opportunity that that paid it's members commissions every time without fail.
And we have a respectful owner Ron Kelly who worked so hard and did everything to keep this opportunity going for us the members.
Replit refuses to answer the appeal that was sent immediately after they banned the website. We want Replit to release the database and website code to Ron Kelly who is the owner of the website and the owner of our data. Replit has no right to keep OUR data!!!

The service and AI is great they have supebase integration but they force their horribly overpriced replit databases and it causes non stop bugs all through development the AI you have to specifically try to get them to use the right database. NON STOP headaches while charging you. They don't miss a beat on charging. So I love the tech but absolutely hate, loathe, their waste of my money and time. I would recommend a colonoscopy by Mike Myers before I recommend them. If I didn't have to fight the errors and bugs because the default Replit DB it would be perfect. I can't say how much I hate not having to deal with their DB currently so many bugs and now a bug. STOP! I know you want to make money but I will support any competitor you have because of this as soon as one becomes good enough. I can;t give negative stars. You would be 5 stars if I didn't have to deal with your Replit defaults. It makes me hate your company. I don;t do bad about companies but you force me. STOP with your replit defaults and charging me to fix because it uses the wrong even after I set what it is. I am not a bad person but you bring out a monster. 90% of my bugs would have no existed if it weren't for replit defaults.

However, a notable downside is the insufficient documentation for configuring local environments for projects initiated in Replit’s web interface, which can lead to delays when adjusting environment variables and package files.

Frustrating experience with the service for a simple app.

I aimed to try out this so-called "easy" and "non-technical" service for a basic app. I followed the video instructions provided by a platform. The app was meant to showcase amusing animal videos. While I managed to connect the necessary tools, the app ultimately failed to function before I exhausted my free credits. I'm left wondering if hiring a developer would be more cost-effective than the credits needed to create my own app.

Fraudulent Charges

I was charged 65 USD and had an additional draft of 30 USD for prompting a few apps. This feels like a scam. I've contacted my bank to request a refund, but now they're attempting to charge another 60 USD. I suspected they would set up an automatic billing. I strongly advise steering clear of this service at all costs.

Excessive Charges and Poor Support Experience

I have been charged over $2,000 despite my plan clearly stating $40 per account for three accounts ($120 total). Even after these unreasonable charges, I continue to be billed the $40 per account. I have sent five separate email threads trying to resolve this matter and have received no response at all. Not even an acknowledgment of my concerns. It has been over 30 days with complete silence from the support team. I have remained patient and professional in every communication, but being overcharged coupled with a lack of communication is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the service. This situation has forced me to escalate the issue beyond the company. I strongly advise keeping a close watch on billing and not to depend on customer support if an issue arises.

Replit simplifies the development process for beginners

Although I'm not a professional developer, this platform makes it remarkably easy to dive into building projects without the hassle of complex technical setups. I primarily use it to experiment and play around with ideas, and the AI features are so effective that I rarely find myself stuck for long. The interface is clean and user-friendly, which means I don’t feel overwhelmed by complicated menus. It has been an excellent resource for learning at my own pace and quickly turning random ideas into functional projects. Overall, it’s an exceptionally reliable platform!

Extremely high costs and lack of transparency in AI billing

My experience with this platform’s AI webmaker has been quite disappointing regarding billing and transparency. Credit depletes rapidly when interacting with the AI, and there’s no clear, real-time method to track the cost of each interaction. This makes regular usage feel like being overcharged for every conversation. The pricing is the highest I’ve encountered in AI webmaking, and the absence of detailed usage breakdowns or alerts gives the impression of hidden charges accumulating silently. Despite raising concerns, nothing has improved, and the entire situation seems almost exploitative towards paying customers. Potential users should be mindful that the billing process is neither user-friendly nor transparent, which could lead to unexpected expenses if not monitored closely. They frequently freeze my access, blaming me for billing issues that were not my fault. After I complained, they provided a temporary free mode, which soon transitioned into additional charges (1 minute of interaction = 45 cents adds up quickly). It’s alarming that nearly 25% of complaints relate to this same problem. The nickel-and-diming continues, and I cannot recommend this service due to its excessive charges and almost abusive practices. I feel uneasy with the service as my complaints were met with suggestions to leave, labeling me as a troublemaker for trying to assist others. This is by far the most costly AI tool I have ever used. Please do better, support team.
