A month ago, I booked a taxi service for myself for a trip to Clermont-Ferrand. It was for Sunday, February 1, at 11:20 p.m. I made the request from Paris airport shortly before 9 p.m., an hour before boarding the plane that took me to Clermont-Ferrand. I received confirmation that I had a taxi at 11:03 p.m., when I was already in a taxi on my way to the city. At that moment, I called the contact number that appeared in the confirmation email. I spoke to someone and told them that I wanted to cancel the taxi. They told me that it had been canceled.
One month later, I see that I have been charged €49. Why? After reading these reviews, people talk about a subscription! I was never informed about a subscription. I would have never paid for a subscription for a service in a country I am not living in...
Bad faith and a desire to scam people like me who are unfamiliar with the transport systems in the cities we have to travel to.
Absolute scammers. Tried to book a restaurant in Toulouse via this site, they charged me a small fee to make the booking, sent me an email stating that the booking was confirmed, but when we turned up at the restaurant their was no booking. The owner explained that they are a rogue website and that he only takes booking over the phone, and warned me to login to their site and cancel my profile with them as they go on to charge people €50!!! a month as a hidden subscription fee to their booking 'services'
I was scammed! NOWHERE did it say anything about a trial period or subscription. Then I was charged 49€ out of nowhere by this fraudulent company. I make a teacher’s salary and cannot afford this nor would have ever agreed to it. I am very careful when it comes to subscriptions and had it said ANYTHING about a subscription I would either not have used the service at all OR been open to using the trial period and maybe sticking with it if I had the choice. I felt this choice was never given to me. This company is fraudulent and unethical. I went back after the fact to be sure I wasn’t missing something and read the terms and conditions and it says you will be notified before you are charged monthly. I was NOT notified.
