Review Time
We were given a 2 day delivery window with no further contact until the driver was stuck down our lane in the wrong place. They clearly didn't look at the delivery instructions and drove past the very obvious requested delivery drop point. They continued past a wide turning area and then proceeded up two private lanes where they damaged the verges and crushed drains due to careless driving. The company has accepted no responsibility for the damage to the lanes which have had to be repaired at cost to us. A clear example of a national company with no care or consideration as ultimately they can just drive away and not be seen again. A lesson in getting what you pay for. They are cheaper than the competition for a reason and absolutely not worth your money. Shop elsewhere.
My first order from Roofing Megastore was fine albeit delivery times to Scotland is very long. Unfortunately we didn't measure our project properly and was 1 corrugated sheet short on each project. I had to reorder and pay the £200 delivery fee which I took on the chin as it was our fault for not measuring correctly. 6 weeks later the 2 sheets arrive damaged. Long story short, they have suggested if l keep the sheets they will give me 40% off of the sheets but still charge me the delivery fee of £200 so basically l get £50 off the sheets but l still have to pay full delivery? So l pay full delivery to have 2 sheets delivered damaged to me? Where does that make sense? I won't be accepting 40% off the sheets and have asked to have undamaged sheets delivered to me. I could have used the sheets but cut the damaged part off etc but lm not going to do that and pay full delivery. They have informed me this will take another 5 weeks to have replacement sheets delivered. At what point does Roofing Megastore realise that this isn't acceptable l wonder. From this experience l can't recommend and l won't use again.
Warning. Warning. Do not buy from roofing megastore. The company are just total rip off merchants. Got a reply back from my warning on trust pilot and they lied through their back teeth. When I phoned for advice as I’m not a roofer and this company are so quick to run their mouths off about been the experts and they can sort anything. Well I sent photos of my roof which had already been decked and breathable membrane on. Megastore followed up with a quote with loads of materials on that I did not need or ask for them to quote for. I only required the Britmet products. So all I did was delete the roof battery’s and nails etc that was not required. So if you see in the reply. Megastore use that to say that it’s my fault. How low can a company go. This truly shows how bad a company they are. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY THEY TRULY ARE THE LOWEST OF THE LOW. GO TO ROOFING SUPERSTORE THEY ARE A FAR BETTER COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.
