Review Time
Paid just over £2000 for a customers job on 4th March, was advised the delivery would be 10th March , it didn’t arrive until around 5pm on the 12th. I wasn’t there to help with the delivery, the elderly customer was and took the delivery note, unsigned. I started the job Monday 16th, hired a tower scaffold, skip etc. baring in mind this is a big job, I ordered 13 rafter bar kits, and by day 3, realised I only had 8. This is now sorted, but 3 of the 7 roof panels fitted are damaged, all in the same place, with the same dents, not realised until the 18th. Tried the website with pictures but told any damage should be notified within 5 days. I don’t know where the damage occurred, being so identical on 3 panels, maybe a manufacture problem, maybe the delivery? It was very windy when the delivery took place, the customer phoned me to let me know that it was there and I offered to help with the off loading, but the delivery driver said he would be ok on his own. The sheets were nearly 4.5m long and he ended up in the hedge a few times. I’ve had to postpone next weeks job due to not being able to finish this one, I’m told the missing rafter bars/caps will be delivered next week, but I don’t know what day yet and I reckon I’ve got at least 3 days there to complete. So I’ll have an extra week scaffold hire as well. Not very happy.
Love the service but the support when simthing went wrong was not what I expected! I ordered polycarbonate roofing and know nothing about the bits that go with the polycarbonate roof like the trims or joining bars or end caps ! All I ordered was the polycarbonate roofing and the rest comes with it ! But it was way short of the trim . No problem i thought i will just ring up and get these sent out . But to be told there is a £45 delivery cost !! I was shocked to actually not have been offered free delivery as It was not my fault! I do like this company but was very disappointed after 2 attempts to ask for the parts to be delivered for free . I mean they weigh like nothing . I could not belive why say no to a customer who has spent a lot in the past as well as this order ! And it was even my fault
This was a truly awful experience. Like most, I found a product at a cost which was attractive. Went through the checkout process to be greeted with a £150+VAT delivery fee... still the total price was within what I figured could work.Placed the order and paid the money...Time went past and no product. Reached out to then to be told that I would need to pay another £150+VAT for delivery from another location.After some wrangling this was reduced to £70inc VAT and a 3-5 day delivery.The consignment didn't arrive in five days.Avoid at all costs
