Stay clear from the incompetent company with appalling communication. Chased several times as to when my order would be dispatched.When the order was received they had missed 9 items off and gave some excuse it was being sent via courier. Had to phone again to ask for update and they had no notes about my previous conversation about missing items. So more delay due to incompetence.Required some more fixings for the sheets and informed I would have to pay £17 for shipping of 6 small bags of fixingsWouldn't even assist by sending them via royal mail considering I have been waiting 2 weeks for my order and still not correct. Stay clear of this shambles of a company.Thank you for the reply roofing megastore. But you have failed to reply to me question why you wanted to charge £17 for 6 packs of nails to be sent.I was happy with the fact you could not add to the order ,even though it had not been despatched, not customer friendly at all.
Placed order, waited two weeks, called company ,spoke to a lady, said she will chase it up and get back to me. No one did. I called back the next day and spoke to the same lady who then put me on hold for 10 mins to then tell me sheets I the sheets are out of stock. Told me to change the sheets I was after to a more expensive one, paid and now still can't tell me when it will be delivered. Terrible service, so far. Just hope all my stock arrives. Will not be using this company again.
In short: Paid for tiles 12 days ago. After 8 days I contacted as hadn’t received a delivery date confirmation. ‘I’ll look into it and call you back’ not a word. I called again ‘yes we have the tiles, only now you can pay £130 MORE for shipping (already spent £150 on shipping) or we will return your money in approximately 14 days. First of all, it doesn’t take 14 days they just want to accrue interest on your money simply because they can. Secondly, at no point did anyone try to reach me to apologise for the delay or offer a compensatory gesture as you would expect with literally any other unfulfilled service. No, instead the company’s own screw up of not holding stock that near to me when they sold it to me, means I should pay what - the diesel? Not a chance. I’d sooner pay triple elsewhere than pay more than agreed price AFTER SALE.
Absolutely awful service told part of my delivery 10 sheets of a 60 sheet order would be delivered on Wednesday and remaining on the Friday 50 were sent on a delivery that couldn't get near the site due to an apparent weight limit that they should have checked and the remaining still has not arrived and have had people on site waiting for the delivery at my cost stay well clear
Steel roofing sheet cut to size, ordered through Roofing Megastore and supplied and delivered by Hornsey Steels Ltd. The service has been excellent, delivery was arranged within the advertised timespan and the product looks to be be in good shape and as ordered.
I thought I had made a big mistake ordering from this company reading these reviews when I received only half my order. After 2 phone calls I resigned myself to 50% which is better than 0%. However the remaining order was delivered 2 days later. Followed up by emails asking if I had received everything and to let them know if anything was missing. Can’t fault customer service. Sheets are now on pony shelter roof and looks good. So good experience for me. Order no 1000129880.
shipping charges are ridiculous £354 plus VAT!!!!! I tried cancelling my order a few days after placing it. I was told it would have to be cancelled within 48 hours, it was 72 hours and judging by the reviews on here (which I wish I had read) it likely hasn't got anywhere near processing yet. I wouldn't recommend. Ironically I received a quote from Burton roofing which was significantly cheaper and that's them ordering the goods in for me.
Rubbish company, rubbish product, 🤦 thinking I had ordered and paid for 16mm polycarbonate sheets .,I received 10mm, with some 16mm fittings 🤔, I then discovered on there calculation part of the order it automatically reverted back to 10mm sheets 🤦 but why? You don't need the thickness of the sheet to calculate the amount you require, I spoke to one of the sales team (very rude to me) and decided to compromise and use the 10mm as long as they replaced the wrong end covers ( which they did) but the 10 is the worst polycarbonate sheets I've seen very flimsy and thin outer layers, I will not be ordering from this company again or recommending them.
A very poor customer experience. I wish I had shopped elswhere. I am out of pocket. Best avoided at all costs in my opinion.My delivey was late. When i rang to chase it, explaining that the estimated delivery date had come and gone, i was curtly told 'its only and estimate,' I explained that this is the only date supplied therefore foolishly assumed it to be accurate and to be honoured. How silly of me to read an email and take the information contained within it at face value, especially in the absence of any contrary information. My order finaly arrived a little shorter than a week late. I was quite prepared to just let this go, as these things can happen, but later I faced another problem...My order was short of one glazing bar. I ordered 15 but recieved just 14. I reported this by email within 7 working days of delivery, NO RESPONSE. I sent countless (10+) emails over several weeks to both orders@roofingmegastore & sales@roofingmegastore (full email address redacted by policy) and guess what, NO RESPONSE. Finaly I did get a response asking me to start from the begining and explain my issue. I spent some time, carefully compiling all of my sent emails into one consise reply, and got NO RESPONSE. Arghhh......... Finaly I rang and spoke to someone who was most unsympathetic and in total denial. Apparently RMS hadnt recieved my many emails, despite them sitting in my sent box with no bounce back. Must be a problem at my end apparently. Well let me tell you that I use my email account daily for business and pleasure and have no problems with it whatsoever. We argued over phone then argued some more over email (now magically working) for a week or so. Yes! ARGUED with a customer that had just spent over £800 pounds! RMS have point blank refuse to send my missing component and i have lost my money. Did I say lost, sounds trivial, ive been robbed!UTTERLY APPAULING SERVICE.Fact, my deliery was short and should of been made good regardless of any other consideration whatsoever. I now have to go throught the laborious task of taking this company to court to claim back my losses.Beware.
