Isn’t it odd how there’s a glut of…

Isn’t it odd how there’s a glut of positive reviews around the same date? Could it possibly have been orchestrated? Roots have form for it. After all if you dare question - or even be on the Roots Allotments Uncovered Facebook page ( a page which is open to all and questions their validity) you’re struck off any of their social media channels. A firm that develops land in a SSI buffer zone, kills deer, skylarks, hedgehogs, buries existing meadowland flora and fauna beneath tonnes of plastic-laden municipal waste and charges you 10x the amount for a patch less than half the size of a standard allotment while ignoring planning authority demands and gets ordered by the police to stop work because they’re too busy to care about wildlife so desperate are they to bring in the cash for their venture capitalist backers, are not ‘Good Vibes Only’, they’re despicable greenwashers. Still, given their stag/fox hunting, badger cull supporting background that’s unsurprising. There’s a reason the Green Party, Forestry England, Chris Packham, the RSPB, local environmentalists plus well over 3000 signatories from across the country have called this greenwashing sham of a business and their development of a wildflower meadow in North Somerset out - but if you’re happy paying through the nose, for a tiny plot and can stomach the stench of decaying deer, skylarks and hedgehogs while you plant into plastic waste and all to line their back-pockets, then this might be the company for you.Or you have a greater moral compass.

Don’t believe the spin about Roots…

Don’t believe the spin about Roots caring for the environment. They don’t. They don’t care about wildlife. They don’t care about causing misery.

What an awful greenwashing company

What an awful greenwashing company. say they care about countryside, creating bio diversity, improving areas. But at the expense of current wildlife and fauna. Also with total lack of planning applications and following legal guidelines at various sites. Baced by venture capital so obviously about the money

Crimes against wildlife

Bristol Abbots Leigh is totally the wrong place for this development and planning permission should be sought so this company can be properly scrutinised. They have barrelled in to a species rich meadow ignoring their planning restrictions. So far ground nesting skylarks (red listed) have been disrupted during nesting season and one deer has had to be put down die to their inadequate fencing all because their very pricey allotments need to be bringing money in yesterday. Cash before caring.

If you want to invest in capitalism…

If you want to invest in capitalism then this is the place to invest it. If you like to grow veg and love wildlife you should avoid these people. They have been part of fox and badger hunting groups, destroy red listed birds habitats, killed deer in the process of profiting from innocent people, broken countless planning laws around the country. There main goal is to change the land so it can be developed on. Help stop roots!!!

Happy in Bath 🌱

I’m apart of the roots bath family and it is absolutely incredible ❤️Everyone I’ve met so far are kind and helpful especially including the team members. I love the movement to get more boaters an allotment as without one we wouldn’t be able to grow (only in little pots on our boat!). They have a refreshing ethos and I loved seeing that it was a no dig site 🌱 I will always be thankful to have my allotment space as it allows me to be social with the community, and also distress while tending to my patch. So thank you ❤️
