Review Time
I've not ordered plants online before but will use Roots again. Delivery was quick and everything arrived in perfectly fine condition. The plants themselves were well developed. I think the price was good, comparable with the local garden centre but with a bit more convenience.
First time customer and I'll be back.!!
Easy to order online and delivered as scheduled. Rhubarb looks super healthy along with the 2 x bare root Tayberry plant's I ordered ... but received 3 "oops, but thanks". Planted as advised by Roots 'care' emails and now looking forward to an excellent harvest.
From a recent first time experience, as a Professional Horticulturalist I advise against using this company. Very poor quality plant, falsely advertised and customer service fobbed me off with pitiful excuses. Sadly, yet another, typical online disaster via a faceless and unempathetic and opportunistic crew of cowboys masquerading as Professional plant sellers.
Please AVOID !
really awful experience. the plants- 2 out of five so far- dumped on the street near my house,- way smaller than promised and they were pricey. customer service saying I have to wait for the rest[ which could have been stolen] and then organise myself a return service and they must return perfect before getting money back...the plants were left in the pouring rain, boxes dripping down...
im sad,169 pounds of pain ..and was meant to be a valentines present. go elsewhere !!![ and always check return policy ]
Professional service, plants are healthy, advice is great.I strongly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for plants, trees etc.

I reached out to purchase a costly tree along with other items, totaling over £350. After waiting four days without a reply, I attempted to call but found no contact numbers available. Eventually, I discovered their social media page and messaged them, only to be informed that they hadn't received my inquiry sent through their website. When I requested a phone number to confirm my order, considering the amount involved, they mentioned they didn't even have a phone. This raised major concerns, and we decided to cancel the inquiry.

Alex and Ian, two long-time plant buyers, set up Roots with the aim of bringing gardeners on a trip around some of their favourite nurseries. As much as possible we want a click on Roots to feel like a trip around a nursery. Almost as if you were there with the grower, covered in mud and beaming with pride as they show you their plants, answer all your questions and gives you advice you didn't even know you needed!
