This is not an Australian Company, it is a SCAM.I bought what was supposed to be a very nice linen Polo Shirt. for $86. I got what was a cheap polo shirt of unknown material. They wanted me to return it at my cost. I spoke to PayPal. They repeated the company's offer. I relented. Sent it on 12/Feb, cost of $28 to return the item to CHINA. Tracked the package, arrived at the Customs Clearance on 23/Feb and is still there. Have not got my refund. Told PayPal. PayPal has resolved this infavour of the seller. I have asked why, still waiting for response, will update.
I love the slim profile of these shoes - they look sharp with a suit. They breathe well even after a full day in the office. My only minor critique is that the soles are quite slick right out of the box, so I had to scuff them up a bit for traction on tile floors. Otherwise, a very solid purchase.
This company is advertising in the Sydney Morning Herald with prices dropped by 70-80%...the address @ Rowe & Mercer Shop 5, 412–414 George Street Sydney, NSW 2000 Australia doesnt exist ...the location is The Stand Arcade and this company isnt in there tennants ledger. They have minimal customer reviews. AI suggests its a scam.
I discovered the rowemercer.com website via an ad on the SMH website. The shopfront appeared to be in the Strand Arcade, Sydney. I wanted to buy some shorts and a shirt for my husband as a surprise. The pricing appeared reasonable with the claimed quality of the products.Upon receipt, the shorts and shirt delivered, in no way matched the order description. The shorts were supposed to be linen, while the shirt was supposed to be high quality washed cotton. The shorts supplied were made of polyester elastane, while the shirt was made from polyester spandex. The sizing of both was questionable. While the cost of the items supplied would have been no more than a few dollars, compared with the price paid.I complained to rowemercer via their contact address. Their reply indicated that they required a whole lot of information to confirm the order was incorrect. After some toing and froing and a considerable lenth of time, I referred the case to Paypal as no resolution had been reached. Ultimately I received a refund for the cost of the goods.
I ordered two linen shirts and a pair of linen shorts and received cotton/polyester and cotton/elastane products. My subsequent enquiries were responded to by what appeared to be a bot offering me increasing discounts to 30% if I kept the merchandise. I was going to return the products for a "full refund", but I don't like my chances.It was advertised on a reputable newspaper website.
Ordered 2 pairs XL linen shorts. Received 1 XL pair which were polyester, one size L and one at least size XXXL. The company refused to replace unless I sent them back at my cost to China. Their address shows George St Sydney but they are not in Sydney at all. Extremely poor experience.
