Review Time
On a very tight sudden deadline 10days before Thanksgiving we were tasked with moving a business from Woodinville, Wa to Oregon. Safe ship handled everything from scheduling to packing to loading and unloading. Would recommend using them, to anyone with time to move or a short deadline.
The movers arrived within the scheduled time block and worked quickly but carefully. Bassel was the Foreman and managed his team professionally but also with respect. The other workers, Ahmed and Cory, knew expectations and how to pack the truck to get the best use of space as well as care of fragile items. I was amazed to see how many moving quilts and rolls of tape were used to make each piece of furniture secure. The move was completed within an acceptable amount of time given how much had to be moved. The team delivered everything the next day as promised - Bassel and Ahmed put everything back together and in the correct places as requested. Will F. suggested I complete this review since my experience with Safe Ship was so positive. I feel like the move experience was not only positive but Bassel became a good friend and I enjoyed something I had been dreading.
Recently used their services for a cross country move. Previously used SafeShip in the past and had a great experience. Pickup went great and had a really positive interaction, the communication & efficiency was great and they were very quick. Now the delivery is where it went awfully wrong…they showed up in an 18 wheeler to a townhome community which obviously wouldn’t fit (on pickup they showed up with a regular truck so i ASSUMED it would be the same vehicle) on delivery he tried to charge me $500 to pay for a U-haul to transfer my things over to that from the semi. There was only ONE guy that showed up to my delivery. No one to help him. Luckily my brother was here but he literally had to follow this guy and help him load/unload from the 18 wheeler into the u-haul and help carry my things into my own home. $6,000 for that service!?! Absolutely not. The guy also tried to charge me $75 PER STAIR to take my things upstairs. I said screw it I’ll carry it myself!!! Also he told me I had to remove all moving blankets from everything and give them back while he unloaded my things. He did not set my bedframe up (which was part of the service i paid for) he threw every box and piece of furniture in the main living area and left!!! I also just called customer service and told them what happened and their response was “Is that all? Thank you for calling and have a nice day” I’m very upset by that. I’m glad I got all my belongings, just disappointed in the service I received and was totally not worth the money. Will look elsewhere if I need to move again.
We had a rough start as without content size of our move , the quote was higher than our budget . However you get what you pay for and we got a smooth move . Mohammad was kind, professional and told us not to worry that there were not extra fees . They wrapped frágil pieces and arrived on time to our out of state location. Everything was intact , we had an issue with the couch not fitting in the door. We hired two men at the site and were able to hoist it up the balcony. Thankful we didn’t have to leave it outside! They made sure all was okay and we did a video to tell services were fine. Overall a good company, no extra fees, broken items or nightmares as in some on the other reviews . We are satisfied with the service. Thank you.
Quick Shift Moving Inc with Ezze team. This experience was fabulous!!! The guys were super careful with all my belongings and very polite. All my things were completely wrapped in blankets and cardboard and tape in the most efficient manner. I am absolutely impressed and eternally grateful for this team of men who packed and loaded the truck so wonderfully.
