The oud I bought arrived quickly, but it was broken. I requested a replacement, but the seller didn't reply for 2 weeks. I opened a PayPal case and eventually the seller agreed to a refund if I post it back - this would cost me £80 for international shipping. They refused to pay the postage for a damaged instrument, which I consider unfair. Paypal doesn't include postage in its guarantee either, so I am left with a broken instrument and a bad feeling. I wish I could trust businesses in Turkey, but this experience is very off-putting.

I order a tombak wich is not that bad but not what I wanted. I asked for the return policy, they asked me the command number which I gave and I had nothing more. I sent 10 messages and had no response. Through their site, email, WhatsApp, ... I believe the return policy is a scam, as they don't answer I will not send it back. That's a shame.
I bought an oud from Sala Music in August 24 and since arrival, I am having an issue with it. The neck area is weirdly shaped and some strings are top of each other. Tuning is also a nightmare, it never stays tuned. I spend 15 min every day. Since the day one I asked them to refund or change it rather than taking a responsibility with this faulty instrument, I’d been asked to pay the the currier and it was a ridiculous amount of money, so there were no point. Top of all that the body has started to peel and seems like it will be completely broken soon. No one response from the company whatsoever. The quality of the instruments they sell is just awful. Never ever buy from them again.

I ordered a Duduk and waited for a response of delivery . It turned out, that i made a mistake ordering it and after having a chat with Veysel, the Duduk came in only two days. The instrument is of premium quality and is absolutely youful to play. I can highly recommend this shop and Veysel as a contact. Won’t be the last instrument i will buy here. I had 2 bad experiences with this company,The first one it took them 2 weeks to tell me the Saz i ordered was out of stock, The 2nd one i ordered strings and paid extra $10 for express shipping 5 days went by did not get my item nor got tracking number for my item i had to dispute the charges, stay away there are better companies out there
Outstanding service. I ordered an oud and it arrived in perfect condition (Turkey to Ireland) within 2 days from placing the order. I made a special request for strap anchors to be installed on the instrument , which was accommodated with no delay to the delivery. The quality of build is superb and especially for the price it exceeded my best expectations. 10/10 would recommend Sala Musik.
