Awful company to deal with, cost me time & money.Long story short…I have a vehicle on Business Finance Lease (similar to what a PCP), Saxtons agreed they could buy the vehicle.Then later pulled the plug because apparently it’s ‘too complicated’ for them to settle the finance with another company. They knew all this information upfront. They put an offer in. They have the settlement agreement and a copy of the V5.For clarity, this is a 25 plate vehicle so not a vehicle condition issue at all.Lazy business, do not trust them, no care for impact to their potential customers
Very poor after sales care. Within a short time of purchase the vehicle showed faulty peeling paintwork which was identified, by a BMW dealer where we took it to be repaired, as the result of a previous repair which we had not been informed of. Saxtons refused to admit any knowledge of this previous repair or acknowledge any responsibility to put right the damage, despite the fact that we were within the 6 month legal limit to register our dissatisfaction with the car’s condition, instead implying that it was a result of something we had done. They also only provided any paperwork for the sale and the vehicle after a request from us. Fancy cars, good sales patter but, in our view, disappointing and unsatisfactory after sales service. Obviously I would never go back again.
This was one of the easiest and friendliest, non-pushy, interactions for buying a car. Michael was helpful, informative and communication was excellent. He provided all the options and didn't try to pressure me into any additional extras. I was very clear on what I wanted and Michael met that request without fault. This didn't feel like a traditional car sales experience, more a human and respectful process. Jenna was nothing short of excellent too, providing great communication and explaining everything clear and concise. Even answering questions outside of her remit. She was a pleasure to talk to and between her and Michael, I now have the exact car I wanted. To the managers of these two, this is how a sales interaction should be, it's what customers want. Non-pushy, polite individuals that focus on the experience. If they had been using the"the warranty is only xxx pounds, can you really be without it" or "add it to finance, you'll not regret it if the car breaks" until you finally submit approach, I wouldn't come back. I can't safely say this is where I will come for my next upgrade. Stu
The experience at Saxtons was fantastic because Viktor and Lee were very accommodating and friendly, explained everything clearly and didn't try to whitewash anything, it was all laid out with clear descriptions and no trying to upsell anything. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming and it really felt like they were all there to help not just do a job. My experience with Saxtons was fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them
