Website is terrible, can't access mobile application

The website UI haven't seen updated since 2000s.So much of the functionality is disabled, for eg I just got the message "We are not able to update KYC details through online SBI. Please visit branch for KYC Updation".What is the point in showing the option is the website then?You can't even update your own address or mobile number through the website.Instead of using an OTP or an Authenticator app, they require you to send a message from a SIM on your phone, and if you're an NRI roaming internationally you can't do this without using expensive international roaming packages which is completely unnecessary in this day and age for people who has internet access.

App is useless but they insist I open my account on the app

I wanted to open an account through the app. Twice the app crashed with a “fatal exception” before I completed the process. This was after I called the branch and they insisted I open an account through the app before they would give me an appointment.

Worst bank and customer service

Worst bank and customer service. No one picks up the phone, impossible to get any message answered through account portal, no one knows any answer to any questions after multiple try and get through. Use other banks and not to use SBI. they just don't care either. I don't think anyone at their HQ looking at this old fashion way of running bank here in NYC.

Absolutely awful customer service

Absolutely awful customer service. I did a mistake opening NRI account and the service provided is awful. No communication they closed my account for no reason. Been trying to ring them but no luck. Stay away from this bank.

Nris, do not invest your money with this 3rd world country primitive bank. I've got a nri account. I've emailed branch in India to setup online banking, but after a few emails they have stopped responding as they know they can't resolve the issues. Very bad service.

Worst internet banking, they send OTPs very late and if you enter wrong OTP they lock your account.Never open an account with them

very poor internet banking, the pages keep loading and not rendering struggling two days to make on fund transfer.SBI bank must take this as serious and resolve this issue..
