Terrible User Experience and Inconvenience with SBI Net BankingI recently had the unfortunate experience of using SBI Net Banking, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. The user interface is incredibly unintuitive and user-unfriendly, making it a Herculean task to navigate and use the platform efficiently. It's mind-boggling how a bank of this stature can offer such a subpar online banking experience.My frustration reached its peak when I forgot my password. Instead of providing a simple and convenient online method for resetting my password, SBI asked me to fill out a form. A form! In this day and age, when technology should be simplifying our lives, they're stuck in the dark ages. But the ordeal didn't end there. They had the audacity to instruct me to take this form to a branch to reactivate my account.How on earth is this process considered helpful or practical? It's not only inconvenient but also a colossal waste of time. With the advent of modern technology, I expect better solutions from my bank. The fact that SBI doesn't offer a user-friendly system for password recovery is an insult to its customers.SBI needs to seriously revamp its net banking services to bring them into the 21st century. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I'm seriously considering switching to a bank that values its customers' time and convenience. In this digital age, there's no excuse for such a cumbersome and inefficient net banking system.
I have my account in SBI , Mansarovar Jaipur branch (SBIN0004098) , I was having Internt activation problem in my account . I convey my heartfelt gratitude to Ms Kamini Sharma for her support in resolving my problem by taking personal pain and showing highest dedication towards her duty and touching courtsey which is rare . As a professional landlord, estate agent, and mortgage broker, I have to say that they are one of the worst banks to consider for a mortgage. The underwriters seem disorganized and unhelpful. I wasted over three months going back and forth with them, providing information that was entirely irrelevant. If I could, I would give them a zero-star review.
Recently I did a wire transfer from my account at City of London branch and the experience was great. I wish to thank Mr Sam Vickers, Branch Manager for his advice to protect my money from scamsters and his invaluable gesture of help to ensure it doing due diligence. The transfer went very smoothly. I also wish to thank Ms.Bristi Alom, Personal Banker and Mr Ahmed, Assistant Manager for their very good support in facilitating the wire transfer. The ambience at the City of London branch was very nice and welcoming. Thank you Mr Sam Vickers for your kind help and valuable support with the wire transfer.
What is wrong with the staff at SBI , are they NOT trained properly.I have been trying to pay money into my mortgage account for the last 3 weeks ! Why is that so difficult ! Your team are incompetent. You have asked us for several different things each time we comply you don’t seem to support us with the transaction . I have dealt with Nelly in the buy to let department UK and we are now reporting with to the financial ombudsman for your total incompetence to deal with our right to put money into our mortgage account . They are so arrogant that dont care to inform account holder before debeting Rs.20000/-from my saving account. I tried to raise complain but they did not provide acceptable explanation. I even call to their support but they know nothing. They just wasting my valuable time.
SBI for ages are on a degradation path. Possibly the worst online banking system. Even if you need to transfer money urgently it is not possible. I would have sacked the folks running security and user experience given a chance as they are still in pre historic ages of internet.
