How hacker known this update no. , so it's means bank server is not safe. 5) very soon close my account from SBI

This ongoing issue remains unresolved, and despite my efforts, I have yet to receive any communication from their end. This lack of response is highly frustrating and unacceptable. Not sure what is going on with this bank or branch. I get a letter every time there is a change in Management to come into the branch to prove my ids/address etc, ELSE I WON'T be able to withdraw my money. I have been banking over 4o years and no high street or online bank has ever asked for proof of ids more than once. BEWARE
As an SBI NRE account holder, my experience has been far from satisfactory. One of the most significant issues is that the Yono app is not available for NRE accounts. This makes managing the account inconvenient, as I can't access many essential services on the go. Additionally, while using the Yono Lite app, I found that NRO fixed deposit details are not visible. This lack of integration and transparency is frustrating and inconvenient. Moreover, SBI's requirement to update KYC details every two years is incredibly tedious. The form asks for basic information like parents' names and dates of birth, which are static and don't change. This redundancy feels unnecessary and a waste of time. Another major problem is the frequent failure of OTP delivery. This security measure is crucial for transactions, but when OTPs fail to arrive, it halts all activities, causing significant inconvenience. Furthermore, the KYC details are not shared between the SBI NRE account and SBI Mutual Fund account. This lack of coordination leads to unnecessary duplication of efforts, making the entire process cumbersome. Overall, SBI needs to address these issues to provide a more user-friendly experience for its NRE account holders.
We were welcomed by the bank and the employees were very helpful in reviving our dormant account. They answered all our queries, and spent 3 hours in setting up our password and helped us in wire transferring money to our Indian account next day. They were also helpful in setting an auto deposit feature for transferring funds by Interc from another bank. Overall a good experience and they showed a lot of patience. Useless, no OTP on weekends, mobile app don’t work on weekends. If try in mobile browser (chrome) - wont accept checkbox input. Top digital banks are struggling to survive in this era, not sure how long!!! Better to close the account and move as there are plenty in local. Goodbye!
