This company does a bait and switch on customers. Their business practices are misleading. Their reps will focus on your winning a bid and conveniently forget to mention all the sales tax and fees associated with the bid. If you want your money back on the same day, within hours of a call, forget about it. It's like pulling teeth from a shark. They are not customer friendly at all. They're more akin to snake oil salesmen.
I am surprised, but using them for buying salvage cars has been convenient. The website is well-organized and provides comprehensive information about the vehicles. The description of the Subaru and Mustang I got was exact, I got both cars in the condition I expected.
I would have put MINUS star, but there is no option for that, SCA is NOT to be trusted with anything they say on their site. 1. They listed a vehicle that is Starts & Drives, when i received the vehicle WON'T even start. 2. Their site say that you have 2 to 5 buisness days to pick up the car and they started chargin me after 2days for storage fee.
SCA Auctions has exceeded my expectations. The cars are from IAAI but here you don`t need the license, which is much more accessible. website is easy to navigate, and the search filters are handy for finding exactly what you need. It`s clear that they`ve put thought into making the user experience smooth.
After winning the bid, they’ll tell you two possibly three weeks to receive title, it took six weeks to get mine then they didn’t sign it, had to fed ex it back to Florida and wait another week and a half. By far the worst auction company I have ever dealt with, I wouldn’t ever do business with them again.
