I would give zero stars if I could. This company has zero customer service and zero customer care. There is no way of contacting them. No number, no address and response from the message portal on their website. The product did arrive and seems nothing more than ok. BUT it took weeks to arrive. As it was ordered as a present, the fact that it took so long meant it could not be used as a present. Upon learning it would take so I immediately tried to contact the seller but there was no way to do so. To this day I have not been able to contact them and as said before they do not respond to their message portal. Stay away from this company.

Poor aftercare

I purchased a set of these knives. Despite following the care instructions, one of the knives has developed a small rust mark. I contacted Sakuto both on their website contact form and via their email support. Neither of these has been responded to! This is very poor customer service, considering how much we paid for these knives. We would definitely NOT recommend purchasing from this company, as there is clearly no aftercare. They are just happy to take your money, and are not bothered by all of the negative reviews they have been getting and will probably continue to get.

100% not genuine

100% not genuine. When you question your purchase they say they will send you a fake knife. Hence still waiting. Avoid, the payment on your bank will rang alarm bells. But nothing you can do as payed willingly. Wish I read the reviews before I ordered Too good to.be true

If I could give this minus rating I would.Clearly fake!Cheap etched knives, claim to be a uk based company, had a German phone number, return address on packaging is a dissolved company, when questioned, they provided and French address which looks like someone’s house.Do not get caught out

please please please read reviews.......I made the mistake of trusting the site and bought these, they took forever to arrive, and when they did they're clearly fake. They're rubbish steel knives with "etching" to make them look like damascus steel, but even the etching is poorly done.. The "engraving" they did is a crappy print that can be scratched off.Do not buy!!!

No warranty & no service. Don't get caught by Sakuto Knives..

I've purchased two of Sakuto Knives chef's knives as the start of a set for my son (gifts). One has broken with a chipped blade, which happened within the first 12-months. Sakuto Knives firstly tried to deny the knife was less than a year old. Despite evidence being provided. Then they simply stopped responding completely. How does a company that does not provide any service for it's expensive products continue to market themselves as a company offering Exceptional Service & Quality Products. Not the case I'm afraid. They won't replace the knife, won't respond to communication with both Support & Customer Services & won't be getting any more of my business.

First off they look really nice…

First off they look really nice although not the orange colour that I thought I would get when ordering. They are also super light, a characteristic of a proper Japanese knife ( Chinese ones are much heavier). They are sharp, as my fingers can testify! another Japanese trait, BUT the aftersales backup is CRAP!One of the handles has come apart after only a few weeks, and a month after emailing 3 times via the contact form I’ve had totally no response.
