⚠️ Be careful before buying from Seamsfriendly ⚠️The clothes are of more than decent quality... BUT the package took over A MONTH to ship and SeamsFriendly team harassed me with emails and even dared to use my phone number to contact me on WhatsApp without my consent. In addition, shipping costs are not included in the overall price and are only indicated once the package is sent (I had to pay 35€ extra just to receive my package even though it wasn't clearly stated on their website).I tried leaving a review on the website, but it didn't work. The fact that they have so few customer reviews and that the only reviews of their clothing are positive shows that this site isn't entirely honest. I would advise against buying from them unless you have all that in mind. Personally, I will NEVER buy from this site ever again.
The company had good communication, and offered free custom fitting. They were great to work with, and let me know when there were problems with things going on in the world and my dress would be a little delayed. I was excited to get my dress, but it was good to know what was going on. My dress is beautiful and I love the way it is made and fits me perfectly. I got the Kahdi blue and it is gorgeous. I wore it for Easter, and got lots of compliments. Thank you for the wonderful dress. I am looking forward to ordering again!
I just received my first order from SeamsFriendly, a sleeveless short dress. I gave SeamsFriendly a try because I am very short (5’ 1”) and usually a “short” (not mini) dress, even when off the rack as a petite size, hits at an unflattering length below the knee for me. I made a mistake on my original bust measurement, but SeamsFriendly made it easy for me to correct that in their order follow-up email, and also allowed me to add a lining to the dress (for an extra fee, of course). The website clearly states that the dress is translucent, and I didn’t want to have to wear a separate slip. I also noted that I didn’t want a tight fitting dress, but also not so loose as to look matronly. The dress that I received fits just as I had hoped, I can move comfortably yet the dress looks well-fitted to my small frame. They did a great job! Next time that I order I will mention that my shoulders are slightly narrow, now that I see how one of their sleeveless patterns fits me.The green color of the dress is slightly darker than I expected but it is very pretty, and the difference could be because of the settings of my phone screen’s brightness level.The quality seems good and the features of the dress are as described—it has two pockets! I placed my order on 3/19/25 and received it on 4/7/25, which I consider to be a very reasonable timeframe for a custom-made dress that shipped from India to the USA. I will return for future orders!
I’m an experienced seamstress but was both in an hurry and curious about ordering a tailored dress for an upcoming event. I received my new dress in the timeframe promised and was pleased with the custom fit. I was especially happy with the high quality cotton fabric and sewing details. The dress was lined, seams were finished and it machine washed/dried really well. I plan to order again in the future.
Having the option to pick and choose details to create custom cotton outfits is amazing. Tailoring to an individual's measurements seems like a lost art, and SeamsFriendly is bringing back this important skill and sharing it with those of us who cannot sew. I appreciate all the communication after the ordering process, and I was very pleased with my finished dress that fit me because it was made just for me. I've come back for more!
Ordered 6 pieces of clothing and the quality on all them is very poor. The cotton is supposedly high quality but it feels like sandpaper. Another piece came with a faulty zipper that I'll likely have to pay to get fixed since the company is not responding to my emails. The pieces also did not fit well even though I sent over precise measurements. I would absolutely never buy from them again.
I ordered a custom made dress from this shop on Etsy and am very pleased with what I received. The dress fits perfectly, the fabric is wonderful (a very soft yet sturdy cotton), and shipping to Europe was fast, too. The shop owner is easy to work with, and I can highly recommend this shop.
